While my AccuWeather app is calling for 3-6” at the moment for me I don’t expect more than 1 or 2”. Hopefully I’m wrong. . -
For Christ sake cant you people leave us alone? It’s like people aren’t happy to see others with some kind of hope so they have to come in and wrap us with a wet blanket. Apparently everyone needs to be negative, no one should have hope and the world is on fire. This forum is so toxic. Sorry I’m fresh out of surgery and the meds are kicking in.

Just watched DT’s breakdown for this weekend and the next few weeks. He is not impressed by this weekends storm, too warm. Perhaps a pattern change by mid February to colder weather but it’s basically December all over again for now. .

Finally snowing albeit lightly, but it stuck to the wet ground right away which was surprising. .

Total failure regarding the forecast for today. I’ve had nothing but rain. The temperature has remained steady, I still hope for a period of snow, but it’s not looking likely. .

I was born in 74. Definitely remember Alberta Clippers in the 80s, I also remember cold and dry then when snow was forecast it was usually snow to rain. I spent many nights looking out my window in the Bronx watching all my beautiful snow get washed away. Always remember driving to my grandmothers house in Ulster County and they would have mountains of snow while NYC had nothing. I’m already dreading next weeks warm up and feeling gypped from these 2 measly storms. Yes I got 12 inches of snow last week but it was gone in 3 days. .

Got down to 8 degrees this morning. Was in the hot tub last night, perfect weather for it.

Radar NOT filling in as FUTURE CAST was showing as well as what the METS were saying. Yes, I know future radar is completely unreliable.

Lotta confusion on here this morning. Your saying bust and others says coastal will get cranking and the anemic radar will fill in. Which is it? .

Sorry, I am greedy. At the very least I would have liked out snowpack to have remained for several days and add more to it. We have been waiting for colder weather all season and now its here and we get suppression or strung out storms. SMH.

Perhaps the cold air won’t modify as much now that a good portion of the country has snow pack due to the past 2 storms. .
