The EPS made a pretty big 12hr move yesterday well inside of day 10 as a particular wave coming off Kamchatka into the Aleutians came into better focus, with downstream implications. Hard to get worked up over day 15 progs in the same region. Things seem to be transient right now, as mentioned.

Apparently CEF broke its daily high temp record the last 4 days in a row. The last 3 were from 1975. Not sure about today.

yeah. As long as the quarantine in your home state provision remains it seems like a charade. If that goes away, it'll be a sign of them actually getting serious. And my guess is, with it will go the ski season.

I usually say that 10/15-11/15 is the best time to travel outside of New England. I guess since that's we're extra grateful for the 4" of snow and now this lovely stuff.

Honestly I think where Treehouse has the big advantage over most of the other local breweries now is in the stouts. Double shot is my fave but there are a ton of solid offerings. I think their biggest competition in that dept isn't local but Founders KBS or CBS when they're around.

We hit up Charlton maybe once every 2 mos or so but in general I'm more inclined to spread the wealth. Take your pick these days really. Quality is widespread. Nothing against treehouse but the gap has substantially narrowed.

By the metrics VT uses Coos county is awful. You're like 9x the rate per million you'd need to avoid quarantine. Based on like 31k people in Coos, they're saying you have 116 or so cases and you can only have like 12 to be in the green.

I'm just hoping and praying for 2010/2011 which will render this moot. Plenty of fine skiing to be had without crossing state lines if we all have snow.

Yep, 2 in ICU in the entire Baystate system. https://www.wwlp.com/news/health/coronavirus-local-impact/baystate-health-42-hospitalized-patients-with-covid-19-2-in-icu/ Zero in the Cooley Dickinson system. And as far as I can tell zero in any other systems out here.

Yeah with only 99.3% of W MA ICU beds not occupied by Covid patients and 1 new confirmed case in Hampshire county something had to be done statewide
