    That Jan 2015 system that preceded the big dog wasn't bad out this way 6.5"... And we like to see the Jan and Feb 2011 mentions as well. The March 2016 system was rather meh however, at least IMBY. 3".

    I think he meant he only tunes his skis every 5 years because he only skis powder. Not that there's a lack of powder days.

    Yeah we skinned up at dawn and hit Flying Cloud totally fresh. Then got first tracks on East Glade which was absolutely mint as you mention. Snow had some meat to it and the entire mountain was skiing wonderfully. We're totally set up right now. Keep it coming.

    I'd say maybe 14ish at the Beast? Denser than what we got at the house too, which was a good thing. Now that the mountain is 100% game on bring the fluff.

    finally showed up, but we cannot, and are not complaining. Already exceeded the most bullish model runs, save possibly a few weenie rgems.

    I haven't been able to perceive snowfall intensity differences corresponding to the bands rotating through... not sure if that's good or bad... either way it's been steadily falling fluff for several hours. We have 6" new since last night.

    Valley floor ponds in typically warmer spots are primo black ice right now. Get it before the snow flies tomorrow.

    Might as well change the name now before selling hats and t shirts. I'm gonna have to get rid of all my Squaw Valley gear, which is ample.

    Was dumping fluffy cottonballs at Berkshire east. Nice little topping for the surfaces. 1.5" at the house in Btown. And yeah... saw 4 accidents on the ride home.
