    I slept through it but my wife says there was snow and rain mixed around 7 am. Rain gauge is sitting at 2.0", nice!!! A lot of wells are gonna be singing a happy tune.

    Wow, a nor'easter! Been a while. Hope the northern crew sees some snow. Have 1.10" here so far, which includes 0.10" from last night. Radar looks interesting, those oranges are moving WNW, as we're getting under the rotation of the low. Eta- Winds are picking up a bit also!

    I slept through it (in my defense I'm working through hopefully the end of a flu, lol). Didn't get the wind here so much, but we did get another 0.92" of rain. Also lost power briefly, apparently.

    Got 1.25" of much appreciated rain here, along with a nice light show for a couple of hours. Plant life looks happy today!

    Been getting some rain here off and on for the last few hours. Probably won't be able to see the 12% solar eclipse at sunrise tomorrow morning due to clouds. Liking the rain though!

    Just had a 5 minute light shower, enough to wet the ground. Currently 51F.

    0.35" of rain total here last night and today. 1.75" in the last week. Little by little!

    Not down here, but I've only looked for the last half hour or so. Tomorrow night might be a better chance, and it should be mainly clear.

    Off and on rain here for the last 15 minutes, starting to pick up a little now. Has a huge lightning bolt about a mile away around 5 minutes ago, sitting on the porch and wasn't expecting it, wow-worthy! Got about 0.80" of rain the other day, radar looks promising for hopefully another half inch this evening.

    Nice! This winter has had the cold, a nice regular supply. Our wood stove has been happy, lol.

    We have a snowbowl in the back here, slight northern slope on the far side, lots of trees behind it. No snow in the bowl now, just some piles. I like pine trees, but here, this winter at least, not a whole lot of snow made it through them, and the grass showed up first around them. One other thing in the weenie hand book is to mow your final cut short, like 1.5 or 2", (and get those leaves off) so if you get 2" of snow it lays nice, and no blades sticking up acting as heat sinks (lol).

    Hey Paul, what's your count on days where the high did not exceed 32°F for Jan and Feb so far? Just curious, similar to how we use days over 90 in the summer as a measure. I don't have the data for here, but there have been a bunch of sub 32 days. And since the lows don't generally get as cold these days, the high temps could be interesting to look at. Thanks, if you have the time!

    I think that one band is centered between us. Snowing lightly here, was "heavier" earlier, but it's been snowing all evening here. A nice windblown dusting!

    Snow pile got dusted this afternoon. Sorry it wasn't more buddy, lol. At least it snowed today, took a little of the blah away of days of cold with no snow. Came down hard a couple of times, the wind added to the fun.
