  1. It tends to show overamped solutions quite frequently. Plus, it degrades substantially after 48hrs or so.
  2. It looks like it's ready to rock and roll at 84...although the precip looks like it changes to rain for the Triangle, even as the heavier precip rates engage.
  3. At least the sun angle is favorable; We'll have a better shot at seeing rainbows!
  4. CMC starting to make a bit better sense as to where snow might fall. Still probably a bit too far east.
  5. Thanks man. I have no problem killing the mounds, but I'm sick of doing it every other day. There must be millions of them underground. Maybe I'll get some of the broadcast stuff. Just sucks to have yet another thing to consume time.
  6. Is they're any way to eradicate fire ants from your yard? I have that Ortho stuff that kills the mounds that pop up, but the huge, elaborate colony underground still remains. Is there reliable method for killing them off other than moving?
  7. I've got regular soil, I guess. They've cropped up in my yard. I also have those little lily pad looking things and also this other stuff that comes up in June that has little white dandelion things on the top, but they're not dandelions. They have little white fuzzy things that blow off when you mow over them. And then later in June, the plants turn almost black as they die. They've spread around really well also.
  8. As long as it's eventually green and I can mow it, I'm happy...except for those spike ball things.
  9. No way...it's developing exactly as I planned it! Good luck in your Goldfish tourney. I hope you eat the most! The parmesan cheese flavored ones are the best!
  10. I think I have chickweed too. And I have some of those things that have the little spikey balls on them. They're the worst.
  11. Nice! I might start selling it. I think I could harvest enough of it to start a small business...you know, something to see me through until clover season kicks off!
  12. I've got a bunch of those purple flower things growing up nicely now, as well as healthy crop of wild onions.
  13. I WILL NOT CUT MY GRASS IN FEBRUARY. EVER. I don't care if I look out the window and can't see the road from the second floor.
  14. Yeah, I need someone to come in and seed the whole yard with Bermuda. I have a couple of crepe myrtles. The Junipers wouldn't do well, as these spots don't get a lot of sun.
  15. Yes! It is stupid that this is the only active thread on February 14. Just depressing. Or as Pack would say, solid B+!
  16. Both of the big areas of dirt are near or between trees. That said, I have plenty of other adjacent areas in a similar situation to trees (and even the same trees), where weeds and grass grow. I will throw down some compost and top soil and see what happens.
