Picked up .20" overnight. Despite all the recent rain, the ground is not soggy and my sump pump wells are dry. I'm sure there was a lot of run off on Friday, but just goes to show how dry it's been -- the lawn soaked up the rain like a sponge.
From what I read, the males don't have stingers. And while the females do, they have no interest in going after people. But yeah, they are vicious looking!
Moderate to occasionally heavy rain here. Approaching .50" at noon.
Impressive little storm. Makes you wonder what Fay might have been capable of if this were 9/10 instead.
Currently a battle between sun and clouds here, 93F/DP 72. Based on model depiction, looks like the storms will continue to fire along outflow boundaries.
I've been listening for cicadas, but nothing here yet.
Already 89F with a DP of 72. Short range models show storms firing up later today -- could be gully washers if you get under one.
Actually, I am a little west of Lansdale proper, more like Towamencin. Anyway, picked up a quick .20" and a ten degree drop in temp, 69F. The lawn enjoyed that!
