I know I’m getting older and maybe my memory is starting to slip, but as I recall 1996 was a very different winter. I think PENNDOT is going to have a lot of leftover salt and Greenskeeper is going to have a lot of leftover weenies. 37F, cloudy

And to be clear, I'm not looking for a HECS (but I'll gladly take one). Give me a 1"-3" or a 2"-4" type deal and I'm happy -- anything to whiten the ground and cover the grass.

Funny you say this Ralph--I was thinking the other day that it seems the only way we've gotten snow around here in recent years is a big warm up that ends with a line of severe wx (the Wiggum rule). But yeah, despite the relative mild Jan, no huge warm up seems to be in store.

Yeah, I'm riding the "nothing good was supposed to happen until after 1/15" train for now. Even then, it may be a brief window. Who knows. I do have a hunch if anything good does happen, it won't be a long track event, something will pop in the 72-96hr timeframe. All that said, I do remember where I left the towel last year in case I need to dig it out.
