  1. Pingers mixing back in, 29F/DP 25F
  2. Pretty much all ZR now…that ain’t good
  3. 3k NAM and latest HRRR similar…maybe a five hour “event”.
  4. It’s not going to “turn” but rather “break out”. Radar should start to blossom around 6pm or so.
  5. Weenie handbook rule #26: if you’re gonna fail, best to do so days in advance and not 12 hours prior.
  6. To my weenie eyes, it looks like the old “models focusing on the wrong wave” scenario. Instead of the Tuesday wave, perhaps the Thursday thingy is where their attention will turn to. But by then, will temps be on our side? Anyway, I already declared I’m out on the Tuesday deal, so I’ll take my time out and go sit in the corner.
  7. Ya know, he won 2 Super Bowls BUT never scared me. Never feared him! Playing against his brother, Rodgers or Brady back in the day… I don’t think he was a great quarterback, but two rings and playing in NYC (NJ actually) means he’ll get in.
  8. I’m out. I’ll check back after 2/20 when the real REAL pattern (supposedly) sets up. Go Birds!!
  9. NYC and Boston get theirs tomorrow. DC and Richmond get theirs early next week. And we get rain late week. Damn the Eagles better win!!
  10. Happy hour will suck us all back in. Buckle up. Enjoy the ride. Keep your head and arms inside the mixer at all times.
  11. Thanks, Paul. Better looking than I initially thought!
  12. Not loving the 12z GFS for early next week. Thank God it's the GFS and we still have four/five days to go.
  13. B Dawk elected to the HOF prior to Super Bowl 52. Eric Allen elected prior to Super Bowl 59. Just sayin'.
  14. I had to check the time stamp to make sure it didn’t read “Feb 2010”.
  15. I'm not hating next week on the GFS. Yeah, the second wave changes over, but too far out to worry about it.
  16. Stolen from the MA forum... Washington Post article excerpt which is a good reminder: Consider these rules of thumb for snow forecasts: • Predictions 10 or more days into the future are almost always unreliable. • Predictions seven days into the future are generally unreliable. • Predictions five days into the future are sometimes reliable. • Predictions three days or less into the future are generally reliable, but not always.
  17. Little more then 48 hours before this one gets underway. Currently looks a little colder than today's event, but will still be a mixed bag for most. Go...
  18. Looks like I'm 100% ZR now. Coating of ice and sleet on all surfaces, including my street which was brined. 31F/DP 29F
  19. 18Z HRRR* still mainly frozen, just some drizzle at the end. *HRRR at range, use with caution.
  20. She needs to pack her bags and move to the equator!
