  1. Only a trace here. But considering what happened in CT and LI yesterday/overnight, no complaints! 71F/DP 70F
  2. Under a warning here, hearing thunder in the distance. 83F/DP 72F
  3. Sun now sets before 8pm, we take! 76F/DP 63F
  4. Bottomed out at 60F this morning. Currently 70F/DP 60F. Starting to feel like late summer out there. Yeah, we probably have plenty of hot & humid days to go, but we certainly earned this break!
  5. Chuck says no winter until 2029. Patience!
  6. 3.90” for the week. Couple of branches down around the yard and neighborhood. Nothing major but clearly there were some strong gusts. 76F/DP 66F
  7. Just over 1” for the day. Next week looks dry, maybe we can get back to drought talk
  8. Yes, there's still a tornado watch until 2pm. But until that line to our west clears the area, I imagine there's still a risk. Curious to see if the watch is extended a few hours based on the timing of the line.
  9. And we got Iggles tonight!! Yeah sure, it'll be a bunch of 4th stringers who aren't even good enough for the CFL with endless false starts, illegal motion & formation penalties, clock management issues, etc. But football season is here!!
  10. A little more than 3" for the week so far. I can officially report steamy windows this morning. 76F/DP 75F
  11. Almost feels like September out there. DPs still high at 65F, but temp is 67F. AC off and windows open (for now).
  12. About 1.75” since yesterday. 70F/DP 70F
  13. Getting some mod to light rain with thunder. The good news is it dropped my temp from 92F down to 82F. The better news is, if the long range outlook is correct, we won't see 90F again for awhile!!
  14. Stabilize, shmablelize...I just got rocked by a bolt!
  15. I’m seeing lightning from the storms in northern DE…pretty cool!
  16. Damn, it ripped here. Close to .80"! Temp down to 75F.
  17. Storm's here, couple of close lightning strikes!
  18. The lawn ppl came by to spray junk and stuff on the grass this morning. A little rain to wash it in would be welcomed. 94F/DP 74F
  19. No surprise, unfortunately. Nina summers tend hang on well into fall. My birthday is mid September and that's when I used to wrap up the AC for the season. But over the past decade, I find myself waiting until mid Oct. 87F/DP 77F as we approach 10am...today is gonna suck!
  20. Great day for a mow! But our latest “wet pattern” only produced .50” in my yard this week, so I was kicking up plenty of dust. 80F/DP 58F
  21. In the 2000’s, JB said the big turnaround would take place in the 2010’s and if it didn’t he’d have to reconsider his position.
