    When I was working in Horsham, I'd drive straight down Rt63. As I'm sure you're aware, it's aligned perfectly with sunrise in the fall and spring. (Must have been built by the Aztecs.) If I end up with cataracts one day, I'll know why.

    Given the dire winter outlooks on these boards (and yeah, I'm mainly in agreement), I'd take 17" and run. Was that for Philly proper? Maybe we can squeeze out a few extra inches here in the NW burbs. And as we know, snow accumulation predictions are like throwing a dart...one storm hit or miss makes all the difference.

    I just stepped outside and saw my first woolly bear -- thick brown stripe, winter cancelled!!

    Another November cold front that's plunged my temp all the way down to 67F

    Slept with the windows open and ceiling fan running. Usually by now I’ve turned on the heat. I haven’t even thought about digging out the flannel sheets and winter comforter. 60F

    Went for a Jebwalk around 8:30 in shorts and t-shirt, temps were already approaching 70F. Currently 74F. I'll be disappointed if we don't hit 80F today.

    Just saw a fox drinking from the birdbath...yeah, it's bad for the critters.

    Hail in AZ for the Cardinals/Bears game? I think the weather is broken.

    Met some friends for dinner. Got to the restaurant around 6pm, so there was still some daylight. People were eating outside on 11/1.

    The GFS says we get to dry out after this morning's drought-busting rains...so we got that going for us.
