  1. I cannot wait for next week's front. Highs in the 70s with lows maybe touching the upper 40s here in NE TX Wed morning.
  2. Angel Fire, NM fell to 16 this morning. Reports from the area around my family's place near Sipapu have had freezing temps the past 3 mornings with 24 this morning. I wonder if snow can dust down to base level tonight.
  3. Yes. Euro is the only one I saw that had the crazy totals along I20. Looks like the hi res models from yesterday are verifying with most rain to our north.
  4. weather.us Recent runs of the Euro show 6-15" for the Longview/Kilgore area. The western gradient is pretty sharp so if you are west of where the main band sets up you will not see a whole lot. Really hard to pinpoint this far out.
  5. Hope not. Most models show a few inches which we can easily handle but Euro keeps insisting on >20" locally around here.
  6. Some spots have seen 35" or rain over the last 24 hours near Beaumont. The main band is sagging towards Houston proper now. All of this should begin to shift north and west later today. East Texas should go downhill rapidly tonight with lots of flash flooding there tomorrow.
  7. I am hoping for a good 2-3" up here along I-20 in E TX, but the Euro runs showing 20+" have me concerned.
  8. Looks like the I-45 corridor is in for some flooding this week as TS Imelda slowly moves north.
  9. Yesterday the rain was to my north and today to the south, ugh.
  10. Next week looks amazing for late July with weekly anomalies 5-10F below normal per ensembles.
  11. I got over a half inch in Hideaway. Yea, not looking like much rain from Barry in Tyler/Longview area, but maybe some heavy showers for far E TX.
  12. It packed a punch wind wise. Still dealing with issues from it at the office in downtown Tyler.
  13. Last week was very nice in the mountains. Lows dropped as low as 35 with highs around 80 on the days it did not rain.
  14. Still a good amount of snow up high in northern NM. Lakes are full and rivers running good. Great early summer up here.
  15. The northern NM peaks could maybe sneak in a touch of snow this weekend especially Saturday night as freezing levels drop to near 9-10k feet with a bit of moisture.
  16. If any remains into July 4th week I may hike up to it. I'll be up there enjoying the nice weather at 9k feet that week.
  17. In the Tyler area I had a strong line around 5am that later went severe east of me. Looks like some strong storms this evening into tonight again for my area.
  18. The northern half of the Houston metro is under the gun from 3 separate supercells.
  19. Two tornado warnings in Central Texas one just E of Bastrop and the other SE of Bastrop.
  20. No rain yesterday and the current batch is also staying south of I-20. Better chances later today here though. Good to have some break but areas S of I-20 in E TX got it good again yesterday. Corpus is about to be hit very hard by that little meso low storm.
  21. Yep, it has been a very wet Spring and the GFS shows another foot over the next couple weeks. Flooding is going to just increase.
  22. Modles area showing a foot plus of rain over the next couple weeks in NE TX where rivers are already above flood stage.
