  1. Honestly basically everything failed outside the NAM. It showed our dryslot and mixing since Thursday. THe RGEM, GFS, HRRR, CMC all were showing me with a foot plus up until this morning. The NAM was the only one to heavily dry slot us and mix.
  2. BTW, they are mixing in Erie. The NAM crushed this one lol.
  3. It is. Though this is also the point where the HRRR wants to mix us for like 4 hours. Again, it has been so terrible maybe it will be wrong but with lighter rates and a marginal column mixing often comes into play.
  4. I guess we will see. It has been absolutely terrible though with this storm. Showed 8 inches by this point. Showed the dry slot filling in.
  5. I honestly just can't buy that we get anything more than a few more inches. The radar looks awful and its going to take hours for the backside to pivot through. The HRRR continually said we should have had 7 or 8 inches on the ground already while I'm not sure if I have three. It is what it is at this point. I'm not sure we even get to a warning level even. Maybe the airport will being on the west side of the county but this is a huge bust and will go in with some of the bad ones we've had.
  6. This might be one of the most embarrassing things the steelers have ever done.
  7. Speaking of the Steelers, my early prediction for next year is 5-12. They are actually terrible, and should have been about 6-11 this year.
  8. Oh, I know haha. Same with LES which while we never got huge hits from it I still remember plenty of days where we'd get 2-3 inches from bands and squalls, and have some really good bands set up over us.
  9. I looked it up. Columbus is horrific lol. Their biggest snows the last few years are all like 3 inches. Again I think that goes back to the lack of clippers as they would usually do pretty well on those also. The only people I actively root against are the MA crew. They've had so many huge storms the last 10-15 years it is insane.
  10. Well, I'm talking about Harrisburg, and I mean you could also look at NYC, philly, and DC as well. Like I said our saving grace used to be clippers we would get a few times a year, get us 2-4 and sometimes overperform and get us 6 inches. Those no longer happen for whatever reason.
  11. Where is the guy who was posting in here that was in Mentor OH? That guy is going to maybe have the most snow of anyone on the forum of this.
  12. December last year was worthwhile, and the March storm where we got a foot over a longtime was nice, and would have been much better if it was in January. But in general we've been snake bitten here.
  13. Rule number one here. If we need a SE jog it goes NW...if we need a NW jog it goes SE.
  14. Yep, dead on. It had been showing Cleveland getting slammed for a few days, and we laughed at it. It was dead on.
  15. Oh I know, but it seems like it is a recurring theme that 50-100 miles away from us gets crushed while we barely get warning level snows. Is what it is. Our climo here for whatever reason is really awful for big snows. We used to kind of make up for it as we would get a ton of 3-5 inch clipper events and some nice LES events as well, but those have dried up. When the hell was the last time we had a clipper that overperformed and gave us 5 inches even?
  16. The central PA crew also has multiple 15+ storms the last 10 years as well though, at least more than us.
  17. I certainly don't blame mets, and certainly 2-3 days out I know things can change, but we are going from a forecast of 12 inches here to possibly not even meeting warning criteria.
  18. This was another major model fail, at least out our way. We went from deform band last night here to having Cleveland, who wasn't even warned till a couple hour ago, getting 20 inches potentially.
  19. I just want to say that I had ripped on the NAM quite a bit in your threads the last few days. I want to apologize to it as it basically has nailed this.
