  1. Let’s lock in that HRRR run. 5-7 inches and warning level event.
  2. GFS looks like it’s going to be pretty spectacular. edit: not as good as I thought but still a solid 4-6 inch event. That would be pretty acceptable
  3. What I want to see is how long some of these glacier type snow piles stick around. They are pretty solid because of the ice storms and there are still some at Ross park 5 or 6 feet high. If we add a bit to them maybe they stick till April?
  4. It will stick around, but by Monday morning it’s mostly gone
  5. Where am I melting down. How about you stop trolling constantly.
  6. Lol. Another storm that totals keep decreasing right up till the start of it. This is the capper on a horrific winter where our “best” storm was a mixing, dry slotting mess of a bust and put overperformer got 3.5 inches. Just miss us completely and move to spring. I don’t want the annoying 3 inches that will melt by the next day anyways
  7. It’s a crappy winter either way. A 6+ event would save it, but a 3 inch event that once again pulls back totals as we close in on the event would suck. Again, don’t be as bad as the MLK debacle.
  8. Can we just end this. We all know this will either fringe us, mix, or slot us. We might get 2-4 if we are lucky and id prefer nothing over that.
  9. Agree. Though some of the models would need more than a little trend NW
  10. This is slowly slipping away. I didn’t have expectations but it would basically put a nice little bow on what has been a fairly awful season.
  11. This is one time the heaviest band has set up right over AGC. Literally the whole county is getting blasted.
  12. This is going to end up a nice advisory level event. Snow up sn+ in Wexford
  13. The issue is there are our overperformers…when ever we have a 4-8 inch or 8-12 forecast they almost always underperform.
  14. Stop trolling. A 2 inch event won’t make up for an overall horrific winter.
  15. Well, I didn't even realize we had a potential storm until now because I've been so focused on the Ukraine disaster. Now that I am here though, I guarantee that means it won't be a storm!
  16. Dude you accuse me of trolling but you are trolling hard right now.
  17. This winter was an absolute dud. ONe underperformer that up to 24 hours out was showing potential of a huge storm, and a couple of clippers and OK wrap around events. I think if that January storm would have performed up to snuff the winter would have felt Ok, but the fact our only real major threat of the winter was full of Ptype and dryslot issues really was a downfall. Last year we had a fairly poor end to the winter, but at least December was good and had a storm that actually, for once, performed or even over performed.
  18. Lol. Ok. if that storm happened in an above average winter it would have been fine, but the fact it is our best storm this year sucks.
