Just a quick question, since when it moves onshore winds will be blowing over land rather than water will that reduce maximum winds on that quadrant or will it really not matter
Can a met chime in on the impacts of a nearly stalled or slow moving high cat 3 hurricane 50 miles off the cosst of Tampa?
I saw one post that says it wouldn’t be all that bad of a scenario but I’d prefer to hear it from a Met.
Fall is here! I seem to remember though the weather turned like this part year end of October only for us to have a pretty awful two week stretch in October with high humidity and temps in the 80’s.
This has honestly been one of the more comfortable august stretches I can remember and it so far doesn't look like high 80's and 90's are on the horizon.
If you have somewhere you can get a good view north right now there a a pretty good lightning show with the line of storms up over Erie…which is amazing since it’s 100 miles away.
