  1. Seen a lot of sarcastic comments this week from the Nova folks on these boards, about Richmond….. Glad to see Hampton area cash in while Nova got scraps. Doesn’t happen very often. I would say this was a win from Richmond to VB.
  2. Fixed it. 4.5” in Varina. (Eastern henrico) looking at the radar, thinking we’ll hit 5”.
  3. Over 4” in Varina now. Coming down and heading towards 5”. Pics have too many kb to post. Hopefully I’ll figure it out.
  4. Easily 3” in Varina (eastern henrico) . Coming down like Lard.. Hope to make 4”.
  5. Yeah. I don’t see RIC getting much more than 4-5” max. Maybe if we get under some banding, but I have my doubts. Hope I’m wrong.
  6. If this is based on 10:1 ratios, I could see RIC max at 7”. More SE of the city.
  7. Bernier came to my 5th grade class back in 1985. He was fairly new to the area. That was 40 years ago, and still going strong!
  8. Going back to the Dec2018 storm, I specifically remember the NAM nailed that storm before all other models, and DT jumped on it early. So there’s that…..
  9. Icon gives RIC 6.7”….. 18z icon gave RIC 4.2” Juicier…
  10. I live 2 miles from RIC, Dec 2018 I measured 16”…. Jan 2016 I measured 18”
  11. Currently, Thunderstorm in Richmond….34 degrees
  12. I went from 29” of snow, to thunderstorms , in 3 GFS runs. The SER is dominant. The Barney Avacado was a pipe dream.
  13. Where is all the Barney cold that was supposedly going to set records??
  14. Roads are bad in eastern Henrico. Caved immediately…. The county didn’t have any plows on call tonight either.
  15. Yes. I’d like to see a more southern shift by about 100 miles. I still think the models are having a hard time with the strength of that arctic high.
