I had a gusty thunderstorm. Dropped .35". I hope there is more to come for this area this evening.

I also have been thinking that the temperature sensor at the Carroll County Regional Airport just north of town has been reading way too warm for many months. Not sure who maintains it (NWS?) but it is often a good 5-6 degrees higher than the surrounding nearby reports.

Had some surprise thunderstorm activity overnight between 2 and 4am. A good bit of lightning at times but rain wasn't particularly heavy got .30". Just fun to lie in bed listening to the rumbling thunder and watching the glow of lightning filtering in between the shades and curtains.

0.98" on the day. About .60 of that in the overnight and another .40 in the afternoon thunderstorm. Right now my temp has fallen to the upper 50s, when I was out on the deck a minute ago I could see my breath, lol. I think it is very close to fogging up here unless the winds hurry up and kick in.

Heard some thunder late yesterday evening and overnight.

Heard a few rumbles of thunder in the last hour. Cells were southeast of me for the most part except earlier today around 4pm when I got clipped with some momentarily heavy rain.

Pavement is covered though.

From my obs. driving I-795 from Westminster and back (for many years) the Owings Mills area always seems to do pretty well overall.

It won't take a lot to make me happy. Setting my bar at 2.75" which gets me to climo for the winter. Still plenty of snowcover IMBY with the addition from early this morning hoping that keeps the chill in the air for tomorrow.
