  1. Raining at work and based on radar... raining at home. Rain is zooming though... that should limit totals. Would be nice to get a nice prolonged soaking.
  2. Phone forecast would leave you to believe today is going to be a washout.... I don’t see that?
  3. Yeah... they were tough to read today because they were soaked and standing water on some. I actually played pretty well on Oumet. We will be back to use our rain check
  4. Crosswinds in Plymouth was in tremendous shape... we only played 9 holes because of rain... but really nice layout. Rain check for 9 holes in the future
  5. 44... actually drove the green on the 8th hole.... dog leg left of about 300 yards... I cut the corner over the trees onto the green.
  6. Played 9 at pine oaks in Easton on Sunday before the rain moved in.... course was in rough shape.... everything was fried to a crisp. Playing crosswinds in Plymouth this Saturday... $79 it’s a little bit more than we like to spend but it looks like a nice track.
  7. I actually worked at Easton CC when I was in college... it’s a nice little course... pine oaks, which is the 9 hole course and joe and Leigh’s isn’t bad either.
  8. Went to joe and Leigh’s golf shop in Easton today and picked up a 3 wood and another pitching wedge (I left my wedge on a course a few weeks ago)
  9. Looks pretty mundane on all fronts here... wind is meh and it looks like we may not see much in he way of any rain.
  10. Yeah sell the wind.... I’d like the rain though... models so far today look a bit better for that. .25-.50 coming from random tropical showers isn’t going to cut it.
  11. Ukie would actually get a few inches of rain in this area
  12. Yup... wet gunna wet. Most modeling has like a half an inch of rain here.... that won’t even put a dent in the dry conditions here.
  13. @dendrite Here are the trees from fast growing trees. October glory red maple and the Japanese maple.
  14. Rich get richer.... this isn’t even worth following. I expect dry conditions in eastern NE
  15. Played west Bridgewater country club again today. 45 front nine and 46 back for a 91. Take out the first and second hole 7 and 6 and could have been sub 90. Whoever said in this thread that the first hole blows, they are right. Tiny fairway rolling right out of your car.
  16. My October glory maple and Japanese maple came in today. I took them out of the box and put them in the shade and watered them. Should I leave them in the shade and water them for a few days before I plant them? Also, should I leave the October glory staked the way it was shipped? And the Japanese maple is basically a long twig, do I need to stake that as well?
  17. Yeah usually when I miss it’s long... it’s tough trying to control the club speed. The hardest shot in golf might be the ball that is in the rough that is 3-4 feet off the green. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve hit it like 2 feet and other times I hit it way over. So hard to hit it that delicately at that short a distance
  18. My wedge game inside of like 75 yards is probably the best part of my game right now.
  19. Shot a 99 at acushnet.... ALL over the place today. Some monster drives and a lot of awful putting. Drove one hole to within 10 yards of the green and ended up with a 6.
  20. I’m keeping track of how many times I golf and how much I spend to see if a membership somewhere would be worth it. Do you use golf now? Some decent deals on that. We typically like to be under 60 dollars for 18 with a cart
  21. That’s a pretty good looking tree.... spreading pretty good already
  22. Great to hear... any pics of it by chance? I got the same size you got, so I’m curious what there shipping method is and how it will get to me. It’s encouraging to hear you had a good experience though. I’m optimistic.
