  1. Starting to taper off... wonder if we can crack 6”.... can already hear the melting too
  2. I never bought it...but it was still modeled. I have been on the conservative train with this one.... we were sitting in a precarious position for big snow, and we got porked. now we see what we can salvage, if much at all. Some of the short range stuff looks like 2” here and that’s about it
  3. You know the writing is on the wall when some of the main posters fade away in the thread through the day. Any snow is good snow at the end of the day.... but 3” is a far cry from 15” some models were showing yesterday. Big time fail for most guidance... no spin necessary
  4. Some of these short range models are absolutely putrid. This could end up being a nothing burger for most.... light advisory doesn’t do it for me this late in the season
  5. Yikes. A light advisory event for all of SNE... save for the Cape
  6. My guess is nobody is seeing double digits... jackpot my guess would be like carver with 9”.... not being a Debby... should be a nice event
  7. Precarious setup. Wouldn’t take much to punt this east and we are left with advisory scraps Hopefully an overperformer for my birthday tomorrow.
  8. Good map... I’d shave an inch off each zone and that would be my call
  9. 6-10 is a decent call here. I think the foot + amounts are overdone a bit
  10. Welcome to the working world, 2019. No respect for employees.
  11. North Conway is a nice area to stay. All kinds of lodging and different food categories. Ifs a good jump off for a bunch of mountains too. I like cranmore, and it’s a great mountain for a beginner. Green trails all over and even some nice wide and winding greens coming down from the top. My fiancé is a beginner and hesitant, i have taken her to king pine a few times. Pretty small place but a lot of easy terrain that isn’t too daunting. It’s about a half hour ride from North Conway area. Its cheaper, and you just might avoid the huge crowds there
  12. Will wait u til the end of the week.. but going to try to book a night or two up north for next Friday Saturday timeframe.
  13. A storm like yesterday is a prime example of how you will get a much lower number if you just stick a yardstick in the ground at the end of the event. Your losing several inches at least. Same concept measuring and clearing once every six hours too. Yesterday your probably losing a few inches of whatever fell when you take a reading at 6 hour intervals. Sucks because it makes the storm seem less impressive.
  14. We have the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant here. Huge perk of living in Taunton. Ive lived here my whole life (24 years) and have lost power maybe a dozen times? And never lost it for more than a few hours. during this 3 storm blitz I’ve lost it once for 25 minutes.
  15. Going with 18.1” total here... bob was about 17” and Matt (butterfish) also in that area. Feel good about it as we are all usually close. this has been an odd winter for sure. Heart of winter was a furnace basically, but we’ve had some good events on the front and back end. looks like I’ve recorded 16 measurable events in the snow table.. most obviously small, but I’d be curious if there is an average number of measurable snows we get around here per season
  16. Yeah... implying someone is lying is kind of a low blow. I guess that’s easier than admitting error in where heaviest sat up?
  17. The last inch in that quick band that rolled through around 8 was pure see through fluff. rarely see that here... almost unheard of in March. I expect the same if the band to the West makes it in
  18. Not ready to go final here yet. That band tint the west could drop another inch or two if it makes it here
