Could be.... well have to see where it trends over the next couple days. Looks kind of warmish at least im this general area.
Still a decent amount do time for shifts
Based on what we have now... my initial forecast for SE Mass would be 1-2” Sunday night with a lot of mixed bag crap and rain.... to rain and slot during the day Monday.
Monday afternoon and evening 3-6”? For a storm total of 4-8” but we’ll see. Part 2 looks better here
It’s a complicated setup.... you’re almost relying on two separate mechanisms to produce maximum snow. I’d feel pretty good NW of ORH.. SE is still a questions.
We are also still like 3 days out
Yeah agreed... it’s all gravy being this early.... I like 3-6” early call here.
Despite what modeling may show right now, I’d bet it’s sloppy here for a time
The front end dump definitely looks to be focused further west, as far as the best stuff is concerned. Then Monday later in the day it cranks for eastern areas
That was a pretty epic melt last year in the March storm I think you ended up literally jacking in. We all do it... no shame.
Always hedging until the very last moment
This reminds me of a late season storm a few years ago... i think it ended up crushing ORH NW after a few inches of slop here. Similar outcomes?... maybe starts rain here and transitions
To respond to @CoastalWx in this thread, yeah.... I’m not expecting much here. It’s still very early for us. We usually wait until mid December and beyond
Still going to need more down this way.
this looks like the timing has slowed down a decent amount. Anything substantial looks to come in early Monday onward too me.
I got one a few weeks ago on somewhere I won’t mention.... yeah there. I had to go to the doctor to have it removed. Incredibly painful and embarrassing.
