Meh... we’ll see... looks kind of weak sauce. That does illustrate well though that everyone off the beach should do fine

Yeah.... it looks like most of the precip right off the immediate shoreline is snow. I’ll take 2” and some drizzle to end.

1-2” and 2-4”north and west of ORH should about so it in my mind. The system itself just doesn’t look very impressive.... which may be the most limiting factor

This is definitely looking better here than it has the last few days. Would like to see the cold ticks continue to feel confident on 3-5” here vs like 1-2”

Looks like euro might even get some extremely light accumulations down to like Foxboro and Sharon are.... wouldn’t be shocked if south of pike saw some flakes

So if we get redevelopment to the south, what tangible affect does that have on snow totals? Does it help lock in the cold, therefore prolonging the snow?

Sure.... some models are really meager in the snow department though... still a ways to go... but that’s not the best sign in my eyes. Im also not jumping for joy over 1-3” of slop in the heart of winter. In November, cool. In January... nah. Hopefully the ski resorts cash for a busy holiday weekend

This looks like an overall meh thump.... 1-3” for most in SNE... including ORH area... maybe 3-5” up towards the MA/NH border

Fun 6z gfs run.... this weekends mess followed by a pretty quiet week, and a soaker next weekend.

Yeah... the euro especially looks like dung for this area..... next. i don’t think we’ve had an all snow event yet this winter.... and I’m not counting the 1” we’ve gotten here or there. I know yesterday I said any snow is good snow, but the more I think of it, hard sell on a few inches that are washed away. Got a nice vacation planned for this summer.... I’m ready to punt this winter to the moon. It sucks

Pattern looks good beyond this weekend. Any snow with this is kind of gravy IMO. I don’t know why he’d melt.... any snow is good snow... especially after this atrocious last 30-35 days

Overall weaker.... definitely a more uniformed “thump” for most of SNE.... looks like 2-4” south of pike and 3-5” north. Bigger totals in CNE which kind of makes sense in a SWFE

Primary is a hair weaker... not sure that’ll really affect the outcome though

Yeah the gfs wasn’t as good as I thoughT... must have been looking at 6z because I figured even lobbing off non snow it was still close to half a foot... not the case at 12z though. Well see what happens.... for the past month... we’ve had basically nada here... so as far as this weekend is concerned, a net gain is welcome. It doesn’t look summery, so mine as well snow

Yeah... the euro doesn’t get us 6” but the gfs does” so I guess a blend is 3-6”?. Either way, long way to go. And the seasonal trend has been to pull the rug last minute, so I would not be surprised at all if the euro and other models are too amped with the primary. That seems entirely plausible to me

I’d sell that amped primary. The Euro has barfed on itself plenty this year. Either way... still a thump

Yeah.... I’ve had like 1” of snow in the last 35 days. I’d be happy with that run. Snow maps tossed, but it’s still warning. Hopefully this isn’t the storm to buck the seasonal trend of fading towards go time. We could use a fade here

Really? That’s a pretty cold run for almost everyone off the beach. A few inches before any changeover might be selling that short, at least verbatim. Unless you’re hedging on it turning to crap.

SNE is cooked for Thursday. I’d be watching this weekend for any shot of snow for you.
