  1. We are having have either 10 or 11 people over, I wonder if my neighbors will call the swat team in... police busting down the door, ripping turkey out of people’s mouths
  2. People don’t want restrictions, but also don’t want a vaccine; which seems kind of weird and doesn’t make much sense? So you’re afraid of the vaccine but not of actually becoming ill? you can’t have it both ways
  3. Personally, I’d be way more concerned with the potential long term issues from contracting covid than what any potential vaccine could do.
  4. I think the last part is key; if you don’t want the vaccine, fine, that’s your choice, but we shouldn’t be keeping restrictions in place because we have a bunch of people who are unwilling to get the vaccine. After everyone has had access to it, you are on your own. Im not going to keep wearing a mask or not having gatherings because joe blow doesn’t believe in vaccinating.
  5. Looks like we Pfizer. Crank the mass production up, get the needles ready
  6. I’ll take it... good chance it’s going to be required if you want to go to school, hospitals, large events, concerts, sporting events, etc etc. I guess if you’re okay avoiding all that stuff, it’s ultimately your choice
  7. I’m also hearing stories of days and days for tests and results. Doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of testing? If I’m sick on Monday, but can’t get a test until Wednesday and then don’t get my results until the following Tuesday, what’s the point?
  8. To be clear, I never supported the type of broadbrush lockdowns we had, and wouldn’t now, either. At the same time, that doesn’t mean I want to throw my hands up and say “oh well, the deaths are what they are” It’s not an either or proposition, I don’t think most folks can afford another lockdown, but we can do things better than we have recently. I’m not personally worried about getting the virus, I’m 26 years old, more than likely, I’ll be fine, but I do have older immune compromised parents
  9. Just in time for everyone to lose their jobs for the holidays!
  10. True, but it also isn’t going to be hard to pick out license plates in a parking lot. This is a little bit different than the summer I think
  11. There has been several doctors ripping Charlie bakers new mask mandate as “pandemic theatre”. He’s now requiring masks at all times in public, even outdoors, which goes against the science that he preaches he’s following 24/7. Those doctors theorize people are going to be skeptical of future requests for compliance because these current measures are totally out to lunch. You aren’t going to get people to follow the rules when it really matters by doing this kind of stuff, which is sad
  12. My outlook predicts a lot of straw grasping as the pig rolls in and the weeks go by.
  13. 94.5% efficacy is incredible, if it’s all on the up and up. That’s the type of number that could end this nightmare sooner rather than later if people will take the damn vaccine.
  14. Lol what does that even mean? He’s butthurt and not posting anymore? Did Twitter give him a proper send off?
  15. My wife usually wants to do it the weekend after Halloween but in the end we generally wait until around thanksgiving. I gave in this year because why not? Nothing wrong with a little holiday cheer earlier than usual
  16. Played Heather hills in Plainville today... absolutely covered in leaves.... barely an attempt to even keep greens clear... kind of disappointing for $50. Lost probably a half dozen balls in the middle of the fairway because of all the leaves. Not good
  17. I’m the first of my friends to get married and own a home, at 26. They have pretty good jobs, but are more the partying type. I’m not, so we are a bit different in that regard.
  18. My wife the other day said were running out of time, we’d need to have kids in the next year or two. We are 26 lol. I told her to get lost
  19. The “zestimate” of my house has gone up over 50k since we bought it in March 2019... that’s not even counting the improvements we’ve made. We bought for 400k and no doubt we’d probably be listing at 500k at this point if we were to sell.
  20. Yeah... like everything else, it’ll be geared to those that have the money. An example being people willing to walk up to the window and pay full price as opposed to looking for discounts on ski sites. Me thinks days of being able to easily find discounts on lift tickets if you are willing to take 5 minutes to look are gone
