    I’m 26 and have dabbled a few times looking into getting into electrical work. Being married, having a home, etc.... not sure how feasible it would be at this point.... by the time you go through the process you’re probably talking 32-33 years old, at least in my case

    I think a big piece of the puzzle this guy and many others are probably leaving out is these “helpers” are low wage, non benefited, often times under the table gigs. The honest answer would be. I can’t find any helpers right now that I could pay a shit wage to do absolute dog work all day and offer them no health benefits or vacation or sick time. most of those helper jobs are you show up and get paid (usually under the table) and if you don’t work, whatever the reason, you don’t get paid.

    I think this is just mostly a boomer talking point. I’m 26 and have worked since I was 14. And so have most of my peers. The biggest problem is that minimum wage hasn’t come close to following the curve of living expenses. A minimum wage job 20-30-40 years ago is a lot different than it is now.

    Restaurant business is a toss up in the best of times. This will be a death blow for many places. You are even seeing a lot of popular places going under.

    Like many other activities these days, it will really come down to the amount of restrictions put in place that determines if it’s even worth it. I’ve seen some grumbling about most resorts requiring masks at all times, even though it’s outdoors. Is it that big of a deal? Most people have face covering on when skiing anyway. Ive pretty much punted on any vacation activity until their is a breakthrough that allows things to return somewhat back to normal.

    Yup... hopefully fill those wells in northern CT. Looks like we may escape the day without any rain here. If we aren’t going to get decent rains, I’d punt on the nuisance stuff.

    Raining at work and based on radar... raining at home. Rain is zooming though... that should limit totals. Would be nice to get a nice prolonged soaking.

    So my wife loves the eventual look of maple trees. So we’ve decided to go either sunset maple or autumn blaze red maple... both get about 40 feet tall and about 30 feet wide...probably a better size for our application than a tulip polar or something that can get twice the height. Those maples will have no issues with water lines or anything like that I’d assume?

    What about a cardinal red maple? Or a wildfire black gum tree?
