My lawn has turned into all kinds of stuff at this point. I just don’t have the money to sink into making it perfect... as long as it’s kept trimmed nicely, it honestly doesn’t matter what it is. If it’s green and the same height... looks fine

The absolute worst thing you can do for a dormant/brown lawn is mow it constantly. It stresses it out even further and can leave permanent tire/mow marks even if some of it comes back.

It took until September 8th... but we finally got our first W as a society in 2020. Keeping up with the Kardashians was finally cancelled after 20 hellish seasons. -
Why re seed? I’d imagine it’ll just come back with some rain and cooler temps?? Doesn’t grass mostly just go dormant, not flat out die? Id imagine you have a well, how will you keep up with watering with all these wells going dry? I’d be pretty afraid of wasting my precious water on the lawn.
