  1. Thursday Friday into Saturday timeframe has soaker potential here. Cold rain
  2. Been a warm month overall.... should make a dent back the other way over the next week or so though
  3. Looks like our next chance for rain is a week out or so at least. We Stein
  4. Good luck, they are more than likely going to have the backing of local and state officials if they do that. It may not be right, but pretty much anything is flying these days. If they can force businesses to stay closed for weeks and months they can and may decide who’s skiing and who’s not.
  5. Like we said. If it rains some and then goes back to being dry (like it has) then that doesn’t do us all that good.
  6. The wife and I don’t have the money to buy or build a house right now.... but if we could swing buying some land right now.... at least we’ll have that when and if the time comes
  7. Any ideas of Snow prospects here? https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/Juniper-Meadow-Rd-Danbury-NH-03230/201296085_zpid/
  8. Mass peeps after crossing the VT border to go skiing.
  9. That sound you’re hearing is the Vermont winter tourism season cratering into the ground.
  10. Yeah... I’m sure it’s over the top. Skiing to me is similar to golf. How many mass spreading events have originated on the golf course? The answer is none. Hell, most skiers wear a mask most of the time anyway, so not much is changing.
  11. All these places laying the ground work to basically cancel the ski season to out of staters. Hoping N.H. remains open through December.
  12. Next week doesn’t look overly wet at 12z but it probably won’t be nice either
  13. Hopefully the gfs holds off on my Halloween snow flashover until the first of November
  14. Yeah... from people I talk to, what is happening at my place of employment is on the extreme end of things. I don’t think what you have to do is to bad, I’d actually say that sounds fairly normal, without going overboard. Just try to keep track of when people will physically be in buildings, and wear a mask.
  15. Next week looks potentially wet. We’ll see
  16. I have to answer a questionnaire everyday before going to work. In addition to being tested once per week. Im in the same boat... if we travel to any place deemed a “high risk” area... we are to quarantine or isolate for 2 weeks. And this is using your own sick/vacation/personal time or whatever. We could lose our jobs if we violate. Essentially, they are basically telling you not to travel, without actually coming out and saying it.
  17. Yeah.... I’m sure this is a time many would try it. My wife may dabble in it a few times a year, if that. I don’t, and never have. I operate heavy machinery and per my contract, I can be drug tested (even though nobody ever is, or has been to my knowledge). I also rarely drink, once in a blue moon.
  18. Yeah... I agree in most respects. Sitting on obvious revenue because you can’t get your act together to pass something is just very silly, especially in a time with massive budget shortfalls
  19. Looks like mass has again punted on sports wagering in the state. Losing out on 35+ million in tax revenue a year. so frustrating
  20. We paid 60 bucks for 18 and a cart Yesterday. We were told when we got there it was cart path only because of the rain on Friday night. what a joke; the cart path at this place was so limited, we would have been better off walking the whole round. The path was a destroyed mess of pavement and it ended like 100-150 yards before every green. I don’t mind walking, but charging people a full cart fee for cart path only nonsense like that is so dumb. What a ripoff
