There is zero redeeming qualities about this winter. Half inch of crap yesterday, mountains of salt on the roads now with no precip in sight to wash it off. Cold and dry and just generally miserable. I know some people love the cold; but it does nothing for me without snow

I’ll be honest, it’s not even worth digging that deep. Maybe we had an inch cumulative? But the morning stuff completely melted, and what fell late yesterday is gone now too with temps rising in the 30s -
The quarter inch this morning completed melted, and we got maybe another quarter inch on the ground now

Temp up to 32… we melt. Sun coming out. Prob got about a quarter inch but you can already see it melting. Cant wait for the warm

This still screams mostly flakes in the air at this point, none of the 12z guidance outside of the NAM gives accumulation

Too bad it’s the NAM. 2-4” would be nice, but most of the other models are 2-4 flakes

It’s trended better, but I think it’s mostly flakes, maybe someone scores am inch, but I certainly don’t see that being widespread at all

To this untrained eye, through 42, NAM looks worse

Hard to believe we’re coming up on the 10 year anniversary of the Jan 15 blizzard and subsequent epic run. might as well be a lifetime ago

Facts. We’ve had 1 good storm and about 7 years of suck here.

This gfs is probably going to be the worst run we’ve seen in a while.

Still a non event. Like will just said. We’re finding every different way to turn this into nothing. Seems like each rub oscillates between burying for energy and a worse northern stream. Cant improve both in any of these runs

As I said earlier. Maybe some Flakes in the air and someone scores an inch west from the northern stream. The phase/ southern stream portion of this is completely dead, In my opinion. The gfs got schooled by the Euro
