  1. I live in Pace, as well. Its coming down hard here as well. I measured 4 inches about half an hour ago at my place. Plenty more coming in off the gulf.
  2. All roads and bridges in Mobile are to be considered impassable, by the DOT there. Fla panhandle here....can barely see any grass now...completely covered and snowing heavily. . and its 25 degrees.
  3. Bet nobody had the words "blizzard conditions" on their bingo card for Mobile, Alabama. From NWS Mobile. sub-1020mb surface low in the Gulf which will promote strong windsand wind gusts, particularly nearer the coast. While we aren`t anticipating true blizzard conditions (criteria defined as frequent gusts in excess of 35mph, visibility below a quarter mile, and blowing snow all for 3 consecutive hours), we can`t rule out temporary near blizzard conditions along the coast where at least moderate snowfall and frequent gusts to 30mph can be expected reducing visibility below a half mile at times
  4. cmc showing 6.7 right over my house here in the Florida panhandle. Not sure how we are going to handle that here. Whether its all snow, or mixed with sleet or slush. I'd love a couple inches...but that's just too much for Florida...period.
  5. I'm gonna need you guys from up North to come down here and take back your snow. We can't deal with that many inches of snow on the gulf coast that the Canadian is showing.
  6. 10 day forecast for Pensacola, Fla says snow/ice during the day tuesday...mostly snow overnight. 1 to 3 inches. Will believe it when I see it. Saw a couple inches here in the late 70s...repeat? We will see.

  14. We are now under a winter weather advisory in the western fla panhandle. Escambia, Santa Rosa and okaloosa counties, just to show how far south this storm's reach is.
