  1. Same here coating on all surfaces. Light snow currently 23/20
  2. Definitely feeling like winter especially with the windchill effect. Took down the outside Christmas decorations yesterday, on the plus side, little snow cover to move thru. Hopefully we don’t get the winds up to 60 today as Walt was mentioning in the earlier post.
  3. Agree, we’re 5 days away. You know that there will be adjustments. It’s all about timing. Once all the players are on the field and some samplings are made, hopefully we’ll have model consensus.
  4. Had light snow showers over the weekend here. A couple gave a dusting and that melted quickly. Used the leaf blower as Rob did and had a good results.
  5. .2 here with light snow currently, 23/22 skies are starting to brighten up. A coating on all surfaces and the salt spreaders are out.
  6. Had numerous light snow showers here yesterday and a few flakes this morning.
  7. Agree with you 100%. In the NE forum there is some great analysis and discussions you just have to move around the chatter. Walt’s posts are excellent, you can learn so much from his posts. I really appreciate his time and efforts along with sharing his knowledge.
  8. Nice write up Walt, it will be interesting too see what the next few model runs show. Have a good night.

  11. Thanks Walt. Could be a tricky go tomorrow morning especially with the cold ground temps that will keep the snow from melting quickly on untreated roadways. Hopefully travelers and commuters take their time. Currently 21/7.
  12. Good northwest wind with that Canadian air and a low of 11 tonight helps with the Christmas mood. Oops the snow cover too! 3.5” for the snow total.
  13. 3.5” will do it here. Just cleaned up outside before this stuff hard freezes up later. Forecast low of 10 tonight.
  14. Elevation dependent is definitely the factor. I have 1/3” of slush here at 125’ of elevation.
  15. Wow big difference, 1/3 of an inch of slush and my road wasn’t totally covered.
