Have always loved weather. Favorite weather situation is the CAD (big in my area). I work for NCDOT as a Geographic Information Systems analyst (computer mapping). One of my task is to support Emergency Management during emergency situations (i.e. weather related). I have been able to mix both my loves (maps and weather) for the greatest job ever. I consider myself advanced in meteorological knowledge but average (at best) compared to people on this site. I actually use sites like this one to help gage if and when I should start preparing my group for a possible weather related situation.
