  1. I had the same reaction . . . I assume that's below average, but I wouldn't characterize as "pretty dry" or "devoid of precip."
  2. 15.4 for the low this morning in Great Falls.
  3. 30.6 with about an inch on the ground in Great Falls (eyeballing, haven’t been out yet to measure)

  9. Looks like the midnight temperature (24.4) will be our high in Great Falls. Afternoon high so far is 23.5. Currently 22.8.
  10. Surprising that the NWS map doesn't have a separate St. Louis climate zone.
  11. 15.6 in Great Falls (and still going down slowly). Coldest morning of the season until tomorrow morning.
  12. Topped out at 39 overnight in Great Falls. Dropped back to 32 this morning with a dusting of additional snow. Now 34. Still ~1” of snow on the ground. Surprising given the intensity of the rain after the changeover.
  13. Same up here in Great Falls. Now 30.4 and climbing steadily. Light ZR. For snow/sleet accumulation, right at 3” before the changeover.
  14. 21/20 with steady light/moderate snow in Great Falls. Also about 20 plows per hour clearing Georgetown Pike …
  15. 19.0 at 10:45 … our low for the day (only made it down to 19.4 this morning).
  16. A slight digression, but as a kid growing up in southern New England, Walt Drag's AFDs were a winter highlight.
  17. Very light RA/IP mix in Great Falls. 32.7 degrees. The sleet mixes in only when the intensity picks up slightly.
  18. Woke up and measured 4” in Great Falls. 25.9 degrees.
  19. Ended up with ~6.5-7" in Great Falls. Temp now down to 27.3 and the wind is picking up. Surprisingly, we have not (yet) lost power.
