  1. I'd say its dead regionwide aside from the mid-cape through Chatham. 1.59" final
  2. It is frustrating when I drive a mile down to the beach in winter and still see the grass on many of the beach front houses. It doesn't sit right with me after a footer.
  3. up to 1.33. and should be up over 1.5" by the end. that's a win, and fail for some of the drier models which gave the area .25 -.50
  4. 1.13" currently. I was wrong again, but we got lucky locally vs the rest of the Cape.
  5. lower cape is really struggling still. they've missed out on both the late August storm and this one
  6. looking like a nice day on the cape to finish the holiday. no rain until tomorrow it looks like and maybe .50-.75, while Stein still hiding out on the lower cape
  7. Actually don't hate this take. I ride the hoody/shorts combo for as long as possible.
  8. Id love it but maybe shifted 100 miles east. like a hook and ladder version of it
  9. yeah..had about 10"-11" even on the south coast (maybe it was like 8", can't quite recall). That's the first whiteout I can remember from my youth..followed by heavy pelting sleet for an hour or two before the flip. I was at my friend's house for a sleepover and remember asking him to turn on wbz to watch Barry Burbank..not your typical ask at a 10 yo sleepover
  10. The backdoor front on 5/31 was the last time I can remember the temperature noticeably dropping Still warm/humid here
  11. .12 - saves me from watering at least
  12. mod rain but sun shining off to the east. kinda cool
  13. the radar looked a lot healthier than I expected when I woke up. maybe we can scrounge up .25 here
  14. Sandy was the only one I could think of late..and that ended up landfalling south of Atlantic city - so doesn't count. Irene, Bob, Carol, were late August Gloria, 1938 were Mid late-September
  15. 0.03" also, guess who's back, back again Stein is back, tell a friend
  16. $800 for an entire winter is great. I just did an early fill of my oil because I read the prices were going to start skyrocketing. I have a boiler system for heating and indirect water heater. 180 gallons at $4.25 ~ $785 Unfortunately I'll be lucky if I make it until early January. Last winter I spent about $2200 on oil. This year is on track to surpass that I need to start looking into alternatives
  17. had a huge nest of those last year..about the size of a beachball. paid $160 to get rid of it. DIY is probably not worth the hassle for those..especially with toddlers and pets around. it was only about 7ft high on my maple in the front yard
