  1. you're being generous. it would be the exact same scenario here. tropical downpours
  2. lower cape kinda got screwed both days..and the drought has been terrible down there too. Boston/NW another screw zone. The Portsmouth RI/Westport area got really screwed as well..but otherwise a good chunk of the region did well
  3. Yes I was wrong. Once the mets started talking about the convective potential and the scattered nature, I backed off a bit. Admittedtly, Stein has gotten to me emotionally at times.
  4. 6.71" on my gauge and steadily increasing (since yesterday). Seems a bit higher than radar estimates..but we are really getting shellacked attm
  5. Andy Dufresne yesterday and today. the region needed it
  6. the storms west of Hartford should hit you
  7. mostly Stein here today but doesn't really matter after yesterdays beatdown +.08" and well over 4" for the 2-day total.
  8. I don't think i'm getting to the beach today. Maybe if I lived on LI
  9. Yea I updated my post to say that it showed hints of one, though the GFS/GEFS are more drastic
  10. GEFS, GFS OP do, and to a lesser extent the Euro OP Though the EPS, GEPS don't really show much of a cooldown. EPS is more of a mild-down late next week
  11. definitely mid-summer like weather to end the month. enjoy feels pretty gross out there today 70/70
  12. 3.94" - hard to believe but its been torrential downpours for about an hour straight
  13. Isn't it mod rain there? Doesn't look to be moving out very quickly
  14. This is insane.. went from Stein to flooding rains
  15. Up to .90, and may double up in the next 30 minutes. Incoming again to PYM county
  16. .64+ Edit: looks like it will finish at about .75 These cells are pretty juicy
  17. wow..absolutely pouring. .32 and counting in the past 10 minutes
  18. thru day 5. hoping this is wrong
  19. this weekend was definitely a throwback to the heat/humidity of mid late July..maybe slightly less unbearable
  20. models are consistent in maybe a slug of .25 for eastern areas..then the familiar stein scenario with storms firing inland and not making it to the coast
  21. sad to hear this, but glad you had many good memories with your buddy.
  22. its amazing how consistent this has been..even going out 15 days on OP runs
