  1. some people making it sound like 70+ on memorial day is outrageous. sure, bad luck last year. but 2 months from now the odds are in our favor that we are much warmer. I'm not sure who is saying 90, or where that narrative came from
  2. I ain't doing sh*t til April. cleanup and crabgrass pre-emergent to start
  3. Boxing Day 2010 was probably the peak of my weather anger. 2010/2011 in general had me shook and shaking with rage
  4. 12/29/12 had a killer rain snow line. driving through Boston (rain) then 24S and 140S was basically the rs line. longitude helped a bit at my old house..but ftl where I live now. iirc, about 3-4" down in Acushnet
  5. I'm enjoying the warmth but wouldn't be shocked if something happens in day 7.5 range. looks somewhat interesting and is giving me pause on saying it's over.
  6. Tree house was buzzin today day 8-9 looked kinda interesting on GFS but obviously a long shot
  7. the invasive spider from Japan likes to eat the invasive insect from China (stink bugs). that's a win
  8. Upper 60's here - can't ask for much more in March..especially with water temps around 40. There is a disparity if you drive about a mile closer to the beach though - around 59/60. Another example. Woods Hole is 46 while Falmouth is in the mid 60's a couple miles inland.
  9. Wolfie is a wounded animal. if all models showed something we'd all interested. destined to fail is definitely not a good way to forecast
  10. Home heating oil was $5.19 /gal as recently as Sunday down here. I'm due for a fill soon..so hopefully we can get that in the low to mid 4's again soon.
  11. This is a good one for elevation. It adjusts the scale as you zoom in https://en-ca.topographic-map.com/maps/2xdn/New-England/
  12. I was hoping to visit the South Shore hills, and the peaks of Norfolk county. Are you telling me this is bunk?
  13. This was an average season here - though December and March blew hard. Feb was meh since that's my peak snow climo month, and January overachieved with the Blizzard. December: 0" January: 21.2" February: 10.75" March: 1.0" Total: 32.95"
