Not as nice as yesterday but still a bit better than it has been. Upper 50's with mix sun and clouds.
Though trying to put lipstick on a pig for days in the upper 40's/low 50's in late April was ridiculous.
so around $3.40(ish) last Fall * 500. ~$1700? Propane looks like its around $3.90 as of today
If you can get through until next Winter with just one fill that would be pretty good. I think my seasonal total is about $2300 with about 3/4 of a tank left. Last year it was around $1700
I know our company uses degree days to determine the next filling - though I'm not sure if they use that along with the min hundred gallon fill requirement. Most likely, imo
My last fill was late March - about 122 gallons at $4.88. Which is a bit more than half my tank.
Thurs -Sat still looking like dung eh. 45-50° for 3 straight days, yippee
sick of this middling April crap. yes I know it could be worse, but it could also be better.
I think as you get into May, my interest in getting snow receives a slight uptick, for historical reasons. Like, sign me up for 2" on May 6th vs 2" on April 6th. Other than that, give me warmth
doesn't look great the next two weeks. maybe a few nice days mixed in but overall meh, temp wise. not saying I won't take sunny and 50s but it's not really Napril
I still need to apply mossex and weed/ feed. should I wait till after the rain tonight and apply tomorrow while the ground is still moist?
I'm not applying both in the same areas. the mossex is just for parts of my lawn near the side of my house that's is sunshine challenged and mossy.
Timing issue. Some are a bit later on in the day after many areas get in the 70's to near 80. Obviously better chance to be further SW, vs somewhere like Gloucester.
