  1. I'm punting days like today to the moon, though. I can do without the gray backdrop of late-April onshore puke flow
  2. Have barely followed this storm..and nothing suggests its coming close. Save your energy for Winter!
  3. I haven't used my hoodie yet. Maybe tomorrow morning will be the first time, if I happen to be outside at 5am - but mostly to protect against mosquitos.
  4. I have an insect identifier app, and this is what I got. maybe if you can get a clearer picture of it, I can run it again. make sure to get real close
  5. Dec 92 and March 93 in the same season is kinda nuts.
  6. I had an inguinal hernia, five years ago in my lower right abdomen with a noticeable bulge. And honestly I didn't feel it much, but I heard it varies depending on the location, and the individual. My surgery went well, although it took me the full 6 months of recovery before I didn't really feel it and wasn't terrified about lifting anything semi-heavy. Honestly, I haven't gone super super heavy at the gym since then. What you have could just be an abdominal muscle strain, but worth checking out if it persists for several weeks.
  7. I misread my rain gauge like a noob. I had .53 yesterday, and .91 today - 1.44" since yesterday.
  8. last slug of rain coming through, should get us over 1"
  9. MV in crosshairs, over 3" nice to see the lower cape getting some liquid
  10. seriously now lets keep that pattern for the winter
  11. dethatched/aerated/and overseeded on Saturday. I use the Sun Joe for the dethatching and it works great for the price, the only con being it's electric and you have to manuever the extension cord. I plan on throwing some milorganite down this week to aid in the growth this fall. I'm glad it rained today, but hopefully we can score some more tomorrow. A question I have is can I still apply the Scotts Winterguard Turf Builder later in the fall, or is that a bad idea since I'm dropping Milorganite now.
  12. Still socked in the clouds here shades of late April, early May. But about 10-15 degrees warmer.
  13. yup, was being rhetorical. Even if the day 6 snowstorm fails 80% of the time, it's still leaves a 19% higher chance than severe around these parts
  14. Yea we were told constantly from March through early July that it was coming..then the clock was finally right by mid-July. Nosterdamus like
  15. Is this the equivalent of a Day 6 snowstorm on the models, or even less likely since we live in New England?
  16. No, I meant the cube - That style of dehumidifer holds more water. I recently was runnign a 70 pint dehumidifer (bucket style) that I had to empty 2+ times a day.
  17. I've been emptying mine daily, 2-3 times during summer's peak. huge PITA
  18. I just bought a midea cube (50 pints) because I don't have a drainage area, so wanted to limit the amount of trips to empty it. Thanks for the suggestion.
  19. In some areas, not this one. It's failing to fill the bucket and instead filling up with water in the area you don't want it to..then leaking out into the basement. Probably a lost cause
