  1. about 2 miles south must be steadier snow. I can see the thicker cloud deck just to my south, but only flurries here. ah well
  2. The kid was just asking why it wasn't snowing on Christmas. Now maybe we get one last parting gift as it lifts north
  3. The best is just south of here but the ground is white so can't complain. maybe 1/2" of fluff. I could see there being 1-2" in Falmouth and along 130S down through Forestdale
  4. winds are cranking again. still haven't seen anything crazy but the next hour might be interesting
  5. south coasts of RI, and maybe southernmost parts of MA and the Cape as well. I'll take some flakes on Christmas Eve and maybe if I'm lucky a coating
  6. 80's winters featured some brutal snowless stretches inland with coastal areas sometimes cashing in on grazers. time will tell
  7. I guess.. I'll take having electricity on Christmas Eve/Christmas with a crappy upcoming two weeks of winter vs no electricity on Christmas Eve/Christmas with a crappy upcoming two weeks of winter
  8. You can thank that low slamming into the NW just in time to deamplify everything. great timing!
  9. I'm usually in on tracking potential threats even if only a slight chance but this one ain't doing it for me. it would be nice if one model had something
  10. This could out Grinch past Grinch storms if many lose power for Christmas Eve/Day. Also, MV/Ack white Christmas?
  11. I have tickets to an outdoor event Friday evening, so my hope is that winds are tamer and the rain is out of here by 4pm. Let's speed it up
  12. Henry Margusity is like if AI processed all of Kevin's posts and spit them out into a tweet, using a random damage generator algorithm.
  13. I'm fine with that. I'll take a prolific blizzard mixed in with mild weather
  14. Haven't read it all yet, but way to pile on https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2022/12/new-england-less-snow-warmer-winter-climate-change/672480/
  15. The GFS still has a signal for 1-2" OES on the Cape Christmas Eve day, from the wsw flow. None of the other models are as bullish
