  1. Stein with 1.5"? not sure that qualifies although some other areas might get over 2-2.5"
  2. Just give me an inch for the lawn. Though some of the models look pretty convective overnight..wouldn't be surprised with some localized big numbers in the areas worried about stein.
  3. Be thankful for the rain on Saturday because it looks like more Stein afterwards
  4. I thought of that when I saw the models..you called it. maybe you can salvage the first part of Saturday and most of Sunday. timing still up in the air
  5. Was it smoky yesterday? It was definitely not as nice as forecast with temps struggling through the low 60's, but it felt chillier. I wonder if the smoke contributed to that.
  6. I do feel like we are constantly seeing those qpf holes in the long range modeling the last 12 months, specifically in the spring/summer..but could also be recency bias as stated. I have been more invested in my yard/lawn during the same timeframe.but shit luck/bad timing either way. Last June/July was brutal..
  7. really going at it hard with that glass of water. bet its a decent ice breaker to segway into his drought talk: "so, speaking of h20..have you seen how dry the GFS is?"
  8. Was that the storm where RT140 was underwater? I also remember my work parking lot in Norwood was underwater a good 1-2ft. I had always thought it was like 08 or 09, but my memory could be f'dup
  9. Sagamore bridge construction finally over, after two months of hell. what a disaster that was
  10. just bad luck I guess, parts of Cape and Plymouth got a nice drink. another chance tomorrow..otherwise time to fire up the lawn sprinklers soon
  11. whopping .02 areas to the east, west, north and south got a bit more
  12. I always wait until June to mulch because of the black locust tree flowers that cover everything - should be happening soon as things warm up
  13. maybe some heavy downpours later in eastern zones. GFS juiced up a bit with .25+. I'll take it if it means I don't have to turn on the sprinklers for a few extra days.
  14. AC on track for late May awt- it's moreso the humidity that bugs me a night. I could get by with the windows open for a while..but its game over once the air becomes too soupy/stagnant. I have oil heat, so I haven't turned that on in almost a month..it's been mild enough in the house with temps mostly in the upper 50's and 60's during that time.
  15. I do remember parts of last May sucked bad, with that low meandering off the midatlantic for seemingly a week and a consistent onshore flow. Thats killer here
  16. I guess it was worse elsewhere, lucked out here being far enough east with the ULL to the west. Touched 60+ all three days, and sun most of the time.
