  1. I'd be lying if I thought it would be 16-14 at halftime after that horrendous start
  2. Sandwich. Surf should be wild regardless
  3. 2.58" total unless that stuff off cape holds together
  4. Definitely, but being on the Cape I'm still watching for any curl NW to bring some wind and rain. low odds still
  5. 2.00"+ areas just to west and north and me have 4-5" supposedly. Sagamore bridge was shut down due to flooding..not sure what the status is
  6. The new euro is always good for one or two of these wacky runs in the mid range. the king has been dead for a while
  7. Georges NAVGEM is probably the best case scenario, and also least likely.
  8. blizzards / nor'easters, sou'easters, hurricanes, Ocean effect snow, and the occasional severe thunderstorm. I think the appeal is that everything is on the table, with of course the frequency and severity of each being variable. It can be boring but we live and watch for the upside.
  9. I'm at Off the Grid..absolutely dead, and its glorious
  10. dropped into the low 60s for a couple hours early in the afternoon. along the eastern ma coast at least
  11. Yea just checked some of the mesos which have it. Dews creep back up later
  12. 79.2° - my dew seems a bit low now so not sure whats up. Peaked at 70.4° around 8:45am, but has steadily dropped down to 63° since.
  13. Most likely path is still between Bermuda and Nantucket. Doesn't mean things couldn't improve.
  14. By Day 9 it's at Bermudas latitude. Hype machine is out. I can't imagine modeling trough placement accurately enough at 216 hours is any easier in the summer than it is in winter. I don't know, maybe it's something to watch but get it inside day 4 or 5
  15. We'll get Eduardoed at the last second and all those stiffened weenies will snap like a piece of particle board
  16. Was so smoky out during my walk I thought someone was burning brush
  17. Finally relocated my Ambient station to about 5.5 ft above the ridge of my roof on the opposite end of where the chimney is Wind readings and temperatures now look a lot more accurate. Station on WU: KMASANDW76 EDIT - probably still a bunch of turbulence from the roof - so not expecting it to be super accurate with the wind - but at least the temp should be better.
