    The vortmax looks a bit stronger to me. It's a few millibars stronger by 9z

    Yeah that's not a good trend if it continues..you could see how the heavier amounts could slide east over the ocean or over extreme east coastal MA.

    Advisory event on the NAM..the models can't seem to pin down the strength of the SLP

    There will be some dynamical cooling going on with this system. With a closed 700mb low off the coast, we shouldn't have too much issue staying snow

    Its 10mb stronger..rather have that than a 1011mb turd wave.

    Take the highest output of the snowiest model.then multiply by 2. We can up the forecast if necessary

    Although the euro has sucked lately..I believe it had this storm far in advance of the other models

    Looking back at 1/22/05..i remember reporting depth as my total..as an ignorant youth. 26" OTG was likely 30"-35" for a total. Around 12-13" depth for this storm. Ended up with around 13.5 -14" total

    2010/2011 was prob my most frustrating Winter, just based on how close the rain/snow line was to mby. I vaguely remember 3/2001 - but I do recall solid OES during the 2nd half of the storm.

    The model bust around 3/17 was a disappointment..I remember a bunch of models temporarily (maybe 2 or 3 cycles) showing a huge hit for eastern mass...then it completely evaporated within 48 hours.

    Still, does anything really top the subsidence in Rhode Island during the March 2014 storm? That was savage

    I don't recall much of the cape changing over at all, so I wouldn't be surprised in the 15+" amounts. If anything, they were fighting a dry slot vs rain/mix.

    how does the stall look on the euro? Is it less progressive than the RGEM and further southwest?

    Hard to believe but that's what the RGEM showed. Can't be right.
