  1. The Eps are different from the Ens (which Buffalowx posted). I think??
  2. The 18Z NAM is coming in flatter as well. So, it looks like we continue with the season's trend. A weaker wave with perhaps some slop/mix?
  3. Lol...that would be the flattest look we could ask for in regards to this weekend. Do they start the trend of flattening the cutter as we get within 84 hours?
  4. Yeah, I really don't expect a blockbuster event here. I did when I was up in Redfield, and we know how that turned out. "Crickets" We haven't been able to get those Lows that sit off the New England coast/retrograde that give that constant flow of moisture and cold over Lake Ontario. Those are the "blockbusters" for Syracuse. I am not impressed with straight-up NW wind lake effect. It's often showery, and the "main band" trolls us and goes over the Finger Lakes. Unfortunately, there's been more of those stupid events the past several years than any other type of lake effect around here.
  5. That's why I like Clipper patterns. They "usually" provide enough moisture with varying wind directions for many to cash in.
  6. This looks good? Maybe only for your yard and the other places that do well with a SW/WSW wind.. Horrific.
  7. Perhaps some lake effect/enhancement that melts the next day or two? I'll gladly be in that screw hole for that one! That picture I posted of you on the banter thread was pretty accurate, eh?
  8. By mere decimals! Let the Battle of the Dustings commence! "My dusting was bigger than yours!" (Not this time.)
  9. I am going with 40 to 60 inches for the Cuse. 40 more dusting to 2 inch glops that melt within hours.
  10. Been getting some occasional thunder here the past half hour!
  11. Ha. I did think the same thing though before seeing your post. It looks like it miiiiight be trying to give some hints of that pattern of which you speak. Until I see that ridge actually start to get pressed down akin to my snow weenie ego, I am skeptical of any clippers, screamers, maulers, etc. visiting from north of the border.
  12. Come on, Dave. Don't do this to yourself...unless you plan on melting like grilled cheese. How often does wrap around work? Now...what I DO think...is we have decent shot at some lake effect/enhancement on the backside.
  13. Hey, @MillvilleWx, Just wanted to drop a note that I am glad your wife is healing well, and I hope you have a very blessed trip to Taos! I love the articulation in your writing/typing. You do such a great job at communicating!
  14. Heavy RAIN has been training over Danville with a temp. of 38 degrees. Snowing up at my place in Upstate NY.
  15. Humps Jamestown and Buffalo...then straddles Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River... TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!
  16. Yes, my online resources and on-ground reporters (aka webcams) show a very nice snowfall falling in western NY. Big dendrites.
  17. That heavy rain continues to train over my location (Danville, PA) with a temperature of 38 degrees. It's pounding on the roof. SMH. In the meanwhile, I see that the snow continues to rebuild and train over northern Onondaga county. lol Looks pretty via webcams!!! Hahaha
  18. Ha. Yeah, I just edited... there was beige colors for special weather statements that surrounded Montour county an hour or so ago. My dad grew up in Hazleton in Luzerne county...spent lots of family visits there. Those higher elevations are a microclimate of their own!
  19. Nice. That's a win for this winter. It looks like it's been snowing pretty good there for the past hour or two. Go out and shovel some piles that might be able to survive into tomorrow evening. Danville, Montour County. It's pouring here. (P.S. I see they just got rid of the light beige color that existed in Luzerne, Columbia, etc...)
  20. Via webcams, big fluffy flakes falling in the Syracuse area and covering the ground. Just rain where I am at in PA... in that white county to the SW of Scranton that has no outlooks of any sort. Notice how the colors wrap around? LOL
  21. It's obviously just one run, but after whatever falls tonight, BUF, ROC, and SYR all get like ONE inch of snow through the end of next week. Just ugly.
