Yeah, it's getting there though. Seeing the NAM and GFS "sort of" jumping on board...and the Canadian waffling around but still having something...and the Euro...and the Ensembles all showing something, I think our chances are increasing for at least a couple inches of snow. That will be from a combo. of some synoptic and lake involvement. If development happens sooner and further south, and it works its way up the coast, we have that small possibility of a good one. This is probably our best opportunity area-wide of the season so far.

Although this is the Canadian and it's further out to sea, it is showing what I was talking about with lake enhancement. @sferic, this is a possible setup that can bring our area some decent snows. If you look at the GEFS as well, you can see them sort of showing it a bit.

Seems like the GEFS has it as a bit of a late bloomer so that New England gets the brunt of the best snows. That's alright...we can work with that. Even with that scenario. we can get some nice lake enhanced snows.

Definitely quite a difference in the placement of that High Pressure. With it showing it in Kansas, the ridge over the Atlantic is closer and a bit sharper to the coast. It wouldn't take much to direct this on a nice path Northeast along the coastline.

I snowshoe and do snow hikes...not "snow hike up thousands and thousands of feet mountains" though...
