  1. The New England banter/complaint thread would be wild and freeze up the whole forum.
  2. If this happened, it would be one of the biggest region-wide systems along the East coast in years. Lots of happy weenies across the subs. The only ones screwed would be those east of the Fall Line.
  3. I'm not getting myself all d up with Kuchie maps...and this is still lots of snow.
  4. I was thinking the same thing. The GFS has been the best this season at sniffing out systems and their location.
  5. Meanwhile...Bville school district, along with many others in this area, closed due to "cold" today. Facebook has been filled with the bantering between the "For the Children!" crowd vs. "Back in my day..." Crowd. Lol
  6. You might have better luck seeing them if you picked up that fence that fell down in the wind again.
  7. I sort of rounded up the Upstate NY crew to come over here and "put this guy in his place." We have very few Mets in our subforum and I would prefer to keep them...and am sure you guys feel the same. Glad our subs could collaborate for a better Americanwx!
  8. I'll take the Lows from the Delmarva to Long Island zone for 1,000, Alex.
  9. We need those synoptic storms to go along the coast and give us a combo of snowfalls. I am convinced those of us to the south of Lake Ontario really don't do well with lake effect. The fetch just isn't there. Lake Ontario helps and feeds us with additional moisture during synoptic events for my favorite: Lake Enhancement.
  10. The most maddening to me, as a snowpack guy as well, is seeing a forecasted high in the mid to upper 30s with a chance of rain tomorrow. There goes the snowpack... AGAIN.
  11. I got an additional inch or so. It's so cold and dry. Snowing here now with the temp below 0.
  12. 6 to 7 inch event total (Sunday night and last night) for here with light snow (dandruff size continuing).
  13. Check out how things are lighting up in S. Jefferson and N. Oswego and moving south. That'll start triggering some more down here as well.
  14. ??? Getting a squall here currently. It hasn't stopped snowing since the band went through. Definitely lighter... but I still think there's more to come. Check out the radar..it's just starting pop again.
  15. You and your neighbors best put on the cold weather gear for clearing out those driveways!
  16. Rgem, Nam, and GFS do. Looks like many of us could get a nice little "refresher" snowfall. Perhaps it'll keep getting better looking and juicier as we get closer.
