  1. I think we found the perfect candidate for snowfall measurements at ROC.
  2. Meh. I'm going with 4 to 8 inches of snow/sleet/graupel. Double to triple that in snowfall 30 to 50 miles to our NW.
  3. Is it possible for this to still tilt in a different way so that there isn't a firehose coming in above from the Atlantic? Or is that pretty much locked in?
  4. It's so stupid...and frustrating. Me too. I'm telling you...in the time I have lived here, there is ALWAYS something that screws up synoptic storms here. Not melting...just disappointed. No track seems to work.
  5. Until Sunday Night. But, where I'm going to be looks to get more than here. lol Shall I extend? Might be a win for you guys...
  6. You got hit nicely. It totally skipped over this area. After the December event that pounded just to the south. Like I said yesterday, there's just been so many busts synoptically around here. it's hard to get excited...especially after seeing what the Nam and Rgem are showing. I fear the warm air is going to ruin it.
  7. Yup. I might have the "best chance" at seeing the "most snow" in Onondaga county.
  8. I sure wish this would go just 50 to 100 miles further SE..like you are thinking....but of course it has to troll us.
  9. Can we just get ONE synoptic system in bloody Syracuse that isn't a freakin pile of #$#@#@#Q@#?!?! YEP. THM Melt Warning in effect.
  10. I'm telling you...there is always some warmth here at some level anymore.
  11. Yeah, that's what I was saying earlier...you have all that moist, mild air coming in on a southeasterly wind from the ocean.
  12. That's just crazy. I bet you had piles all winter from that event.
  13. How much did you have in December 2020? Oh, wait..never mind. Don't answer. Please.
  14. For sure. The only model I hate, no matter what it shows, is the Nam. We have longstanding issues...
  15. Hey, now. I didn't say the Ggem is a crappy model when it gave you the Jackpot.
  16. An, with that beauty, now I can go to sleep, dreaming of unicorns and lollipops frolicking in the hills of 15 inches of snow.
  17. The Canadian did head east some since 12Z. Instead of the Low over Syracuse it now has it over Albany. Some ticks back to the east with GFS and Canadian...maybe it continues?
  18. Thanks. Unfortunately, the whole issue of downsloping affects Syracuse as well on a south-based wind...and I was wondering earlier if that's what the models were showing.
  19. The GFS Op has by far been the best model this season. So, that is keeping me from jumping in Onondaga Lake and contaminating myself with lethal amounts of Mercury and every other poison and disease.
