  1. I was going to post the same exact thing, but was going to wait until the 0Z runs tonight. 48 hours since we started watching things and absolutely no more clarity. Ha! If we take a "middle ground" approach of all the models, the Thruway west of Utica to Buffalo is looking good.
  2. That's why I said it's a lot of sleet. Which is a HUGE area of sleet...and that large of an area is quite unlikely.
  3. 0Z Nam looks way different on Tidbits...so either Pivotal is pushing sleet too much OR that's a lot of sleet on tidbits:
  4. It's pretty good with lake effect, but with synoptic systems? Not the greatest. Still, I hate that it's so far NW.
  5. Based on the Rgem? Don't give your Canadian model THAT much credit...
  6. So it could start snowing here anywhere from as early as Wednesday night or as late as the twilight hours of Friday morning. lol
  7. It's the warmest run (so far) of all the models, so it will end up correct. I would still get 6 inches and who knows what else. Hoping for a bit more of a push of the cold.
  8. Being so close to it on many of the models makes me nervous. All it needs to do is track 25 miles further north than shown and it's game over.
  9. Is that even possible with a great reduction in nuts?
  10. Just in: "We have issued a: Lake Effect Snow Multiple Post Warning for... "County of Wayne" and "Colony of Americanwx." Road traffic AND internet traffic, particularly in the area of Americanwx, will be next to impossible. Please stay alert and check in for possible updates about any Death Bands that could occur."
  11. Absolutely beautiful Nam run...the best one I've seen for these parts since I moved here.
  12. Grocery store clerk: "Oh, you getting the essentials before the big storm hits?" Delta: "Uhhh, no. I just needed eggs and bread for French Toast."
  13. BGM updated their HWO at 3:08 pm with no watches yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they wait til tomorrow morning. They're quite a conservative office.
  14. Ohhh, that's right. Well, then, welcome to the Blood Pressure zone.
  15. What are you worrying about? You're golden. It's here in the constant-riding-on-the-edge-increased-blood pressure zone that the sweating occurs.
  16. Forecasted high for today was upper 20s in the Sizzle. Sizzling in the low to mid 30s this afternoon.
  17. It's nice to see Syracuse on par with BUF and ROC for once this season on a set of model runs (other than GFS).
