  1. It was inevitable. I have grown tired of this winter and its games. It takes LOTS to get me to this point: Bring on the warm seasons.
  2. Huge difference in one run on the Canadian from 12Z to 0Z. Hopefully it's not just a blip and other models continue the SE track. I know chances of it being mostly snow here are rather slim...but perhaps more wintry than just a huge thaw.
  3. The infamous Jamestown to Syracuse track. It's gonna be painful to see Western NY get hit again.
  4. The CNY snow forcefield carries on. Even with NW winds and the snow coming south over Western NY...here, it's like a WSW flow (even with NW winds) carrying the snow to the Northern Tug. The BUF forecast area has had day after day of precip this season, while we...sit and wait.
  5. BGM is hilarious. The models are trending further SE and snowier for the end of the week, yet they made temps higher and reduced snow chances. I noticed the weekend crew there tends to do this though.
  6. With being further west and closer to the lake, I have had a bit more than you. I have 4 to 5 inches left.
  7. We flipped away from the stupid torch winds and have dropped almost 10 degrees this afternoon. Back below freezing again at 31 degrees with decent snow showers.
  8. One of the Mets on one of the other subs mentioned to be on the lookout for such an outcome. Mentioned another wave could form along the front as it slows down to the SE. Which, is very similar to what we had recently.
  9. Just teasing. I did think similarly to you in regards to there being no single digits. I think mostly us weenies are the only ones who would pay attention to that.
  10. I was thinking the same thing. Not sure if the outcome will be different though with the indices in the midst of changing.
  11. Same here. Surprised to see it accumulating a bit on top of the snow and bushes.
  12. Geesh, Euro has Southern New England getting to near 70 at the end of the week! That would break records.
  13. The cutter at the end of the week will be our first real one of the season. I have mixed feelings about what I hope for after that. Kind of tired of playing the "hit or mostly miss" game this winter has brought. I would love a few solid snowstorms in March, but not if we're treading the line like we have so often the past several years with almost every event.
  14. You mock his not showing any single digits, but then call that a "map."
  15. I thought we were finally done melting snow as much as temps dropped into the 30s...but nope, popped back up into the 40s in this stupid sauna of a city. 12Z model runs also now show lake effect snow avoiding us too. Winter in the Cuse rolls on...
  16. Thanks for sharing. I have definitely found ways that it is a gift to the world...and makes me extremely caring and thoughtful towards people in my life. Though, the internal battle can be exhausting...and I have been struggling a bit.
  17. Ukie looks like it's heading in that direction as well (extrapolating)...
  18. The Canadians are throwing me a bone again. Perhaps 2 weekends in a row of lake involvement? (Trying with that synoptic system as well...)
