  1. Yikes... 3 to 5 inches of orographic lift RAIN on the Tug?!? That is going to put a huge hurt on an already weak season there. ROUGH several winters for this part of New York.
  2. I think all 3 are looking good. Enjoy! I will get in on the action too...by watching webcams. lol
  3. The wind picked up the slightest southerly component in Saharasizzlecuse and the temp jumped 7 degrees between 7 and 8. Let the torch begin in the furnace of New York state.
  4. Man, that cutoff is sharp. Many of us could get a great storm if the front moves through just a bit faster and the low takes a bit more time. This is one that could lead to big surprises...especially our WNY friends.
  5. Lol...no matter how far the GEFS go, they'll still show the big fricken screw zone bulge of crapola that sticks up through CNY.
  6. Do these clippers think they can't cross the border into the US this year? Might catch Covid from a dirty American...
  7. Oh, it's not just the 5 posts. Don't underestimate the power of his s he throws around. Gives Oprah a run for her money...
  8. I see the NAM is coming in a bit further south again. Good sign for you WNY guys.
  9. Can you turn it into a transformer that has ice skates, floating innertubes, and mud wheels on it for a variety of conditions?
  10. End of next week into the first week of March looks fun on this recent run... Check out Canada. lol Kuchie kuchie
  11. Yeah, it looked like they weren't going to get much snow but the multiple waves helped them out, with that last wave giving them 3 to 6 inches. We don't have that benefit here. The cold air sector seemed larger (and slower moving?) with that one as well, with a wider area of sleet and freezing rain. These further South and east runs are showing a bit more of that mix area. The latest GFS really gets that mixing close to CNY.
  12. Can anyone think of the last synoptic storm where it actually went in our favor with a list minute big shift Southeast and colder? Big...as in rain was expected, and instead there was a snowstorm? In late March 2020, I remember we were supposed to only have like an inch of slop here and we instead had over 6 inches of heavy, wet snow that accumulated during the heat of the day.
  13. It was a pretty big jump from 12Z to 18Z. Now that things are being sampled, maybe we can keep going SE?
  14. 18Z GFS came south too, but it looks super wonky. Can we please get another 100 to 200 miles? lol
  15. 18Z Rgem has made some pretty significant changes from 06Z to 18Z. Can we for once get one of these situations that often screw us where we're the jackpot and then within 48 hours hundreds of miles to the SE wins? Keep 'er coming south... Buffalo is good to go.
  16. If we could get that high to press in anymore, it would be such a different story for many.
  17. Wow, your total this season has been like half of what we've had, yet you have like 2 times more than the Syracuse area (maybe more). Shows you how much the Saharasizzlecuse effect sucks.
