We had some snow left over since Thursday until around noon today. Now we replenish again tomorrow. Nice little (and temporary) start to winter.

lol..Now that the models are all coming into consensus with what the Euro was showing, what does the Euro do? Goes even farther northwest! This run looks meh for the Syracuse area.

I am thinking 4 to 6 inch event for the Syracuse area...and then a couple more with lake effect afterward.

Hey, everybody! Just moved into our temporary place between Baldwinsville and Phoenix this week. Maybe we will find a house within the next year that fits our needs/interests in the area. P.S. The Bville YMCA is awesome! Looking forward to chatting weather with you all from my new location. I think last winter prepared me for what it's like to be "riding the edge" of the LO snow bands. Maybe we'll find our home between Bville and Fulton.

Lol... Thanks for the congrats! We may end up in Southern Oswego County to live. Taxes are so much lower there. I've considered your old stomping grounds of Fulton, but not sure I want to do that drive. I've also had several "warnings" not to even consider Fulton.

Thanks! I guess I'll be changing my name soon. I am loving the cooler temps this summer, while my wife is not. haha....both of us agree we would love some more sunshine. I hope you're having a great summer too. I plan on checking in a little more often again over the summer.

Hey, weather friends! Welp, I accepted a job in Baldwinsville a couple weeks ago. Sooooo, it looks like I will be calling several of you my neighbors soon. Won't be in the heavy snowbelt anymore :( but close enough that I will be able to enjoy some lake effect events. The wife and I are looking on the northern side of Baldwinsville, from the 4 corners to Radisson, and north and west. So, that will put me even closer to some of the good bands when the right flow sets up. If any of you Baldwinsville/Lysander/Phoenix posters have a house for sale (not looking for anything fancy) or an apartment, shoot me a message. I look forward to joining the beautiful, scenic, friendly community of B'ville!

Very interesting, Ohweather! A few other things I noticed from your maps: 1) There is often a Low Pressure located in Easter Canada/Quebec 2) There is often a warm front or stationary front in Montana and the Rockies states 3) There is often a low pressure system located in the Gulf coast area. Very interesting how those commonly show up!
