    The GFS has the Low come the whole way up to the Mohawk Valley and just sit for several frames.

    This GFS run is exactly why Rochester is winning this year. They just fall apart by the time they get to Central NY and then a wussy little secondary steals whatever is left. Just one run though...we shall see.

    That "super cutter" is a low down in OKLAHOMA CITY, but it's rain the whole way up to DULUTH, MN... lol............................................Before the last decade, I would say that's just a fluke. But, this winter, it's a very strong possibility!

    It actually looks extremely similar to what the 12Z Canadian was showing for the East coast....that could be a very good thing.

    Indeed. So you Rochester guys need to hope for horrible winters to be the champions! Several times this winter, Buffalo has been too mild with some of these weak systems pulling up warm air, but you guys stay cold enough, and the precip. has fizzled somewhat by the time it gets to the cuse.

    I didn't say they reign every year. They have just been having a "great" winter relative to the rest of us this year. 18Z GEFS look awesome for them.
