Thanks. I know King mentioned something similar to that earlier today...I mean it's solid green for miles on both sides of me on that radar so I figured I saw safe for good snow. Yet here I sit. It's like we have this massive dry zone above us that's fricking everything up. So maddening...ALL DAY! Syrmax described it best when he said "virga with flurries mixed in."
Haha! Yep! Today is just as bad...except instead of watching the band sit just to my north...I'm watching one just to my south moving from NE to SW. The curse reigns on...
Watching on radar, I must be on the northwestern flank of that band that is rotating through Onondaga county. Looks like it's pouring snow via webcams over Syracuse and your report, King. Hopefully it rotates in here.
There must be some sort of extreme dry layer or shear or voodoo monster in the atmosphere above No. Onondaga because all it has done is spit flakes like it is doing now..even under that band.
Was looking forward to being under this band for a tiny bit, but all I'm seeing are teeny tiny flakes blowing in the wind.
So, now it doesn't snow in dry slots AND under bands on radar. Got it.
