  1. So how many miles west do you think the actual precipitation is??
  2. Thanks. I know King mentioned something similar to that earlier today...I mean it's solid green for miles on both sides of me on that radar so I figured I saw safe for good snow. Yet here I sit. It's like we have this massive dry zone above us that's fricking everything up. So maddening...ALL DAY! Syrmax described it best when he said "virga with flurries mixed in."
  3. I don't understand this system and what's going on in my area. Solidly in the banding, but still, only light fluffers falling down.
  4. Getting some yellows developing over the Rev and look to be trying to head this way.
  5. Hopefully it'll rotate in this way as winds turn more NW. Otherwise, it's another loser here.
  6. 4 or 5 inches since midnight...while place north, east, and south have probably had 8 to 14 inches...and now west coming up pretty soon.
  7. Waited all day for it to move in from the east. Now I'm waiting all evening for it to come in from the west. Can't make this up.
  8. Right on the edge of the band....as ALWAYS...this time it's to the west. lol
  9. Looks like an enhanced band may be forming over Eastern Wayne, Northern Cayuga, and Northwestern Onondaga.
  10. Even as precip builds over me....still barely snowing...
  11. Haha! Yep! Today is just as bad...except instead of watching the band sit just to my north...I'm watching one just to my south moving from NE to SW. The curse reigns on...
  12. This is so maddening. The Tug has been screwing N. Onondaga all day. I need a new hobby.
  13. Using the Tug Radar, I guess you can see better how the N. Syracuse weenie zone has been getting screwed. Apparently training JUST to my south.
  14. Watching on radar, I must be on the northwestern flank of that band that is rotating through Onondaga county. Looks like it's pouring snow via webcams over Syracuse and your report, King. Hopefully it rotates in here.
  15. There must be some sort of extreme dry layer or shear or voodoo monster in the atmosphere above No. Onondaga because all it has done is spit flakes like it is doing now..even under that band.
  16. Checking out the webcam in Oswego it looks like a whiteout, yet they aren't under anything.
  17. Was looking forward to being under this band for a tiny bit, but all I'm seeing are teeny tiny flakes blowing in the wind. So, now it doesn't snow in dry slots AND under bands on radar. Got it.
  18. Sense and things working the way they "should" ended in 2020.
  19. There's a nice "blob" over me on radar but it's barely doing a thing.
  20. Now that precip is finally making it west, there is nothing left to the east of Syracuse...lol
  21. Apparently we needed this low to back to Bermuda to get in on the Northern and Western fringes...
