  1. True story. I don't want rains to ruin the beautiful pack next week. Just got back from my Jebwalk enjoying the scenery.
  2. Looking good for perhaps you North Erie county guys, isn't it? lakeeffect, are you still at your old home?
  3. For some reason, the Syracuse sauna has had our temp rise above freezing.
  4. Look at it trolling Syracuse...bringing rain up just far enough north with much of the Lows...lol
  5. Good call. They've actually been at the top for many events this winter. They're having a good winter in comparison to some other locales in Upstate.
  6. Wow...downsloping was a killer. It looked like you and the Southeastern quarter of Oswego county were gipped by this one. I guess it often evens out...as you guys were the winners several times already this winter. The true WINNERS this year have been those in Southern Onondaga county over to Madison county. It's been quite the higher elevation winter.
  7. LOL!!! Who is the IDIOT who measures in Bville!!!??!?! We had 10 inches BEFORE this storm hit and just got over a foot the past 2 days!!! I posted these on the other sub...that is JUST from yesterday. I need to become a spotter to undo the moron trolling me. lol
  8. We had about a foot fall here in the Bville area overnight and this morning. The best rates and flake size occurred AFTER the warning was dropped at 5 am. lol...
  9. My guess is these strong winds are pushing the best snows the whole way down to Ithaca and the Southern Finger Lakes region. (Just another way to give us the screws.) Blowing and drifting all over the place here. My guess is 3 to 4 new inches since it started up around 7:30. So maybe half of what the Southwestern part of the county has received.
  10. Yeah, certainly not the insane rates that 96blizz is getting...but it's been moderate snow blowing all over the place here the past several hours. It still has that look that it's TRYING to snow harder, but the dry air is still above screwing with it. It's hard to explain...I can just tell with the way the flakes are falling...they have the shredded look.
  11. I see BUF upgraded Oswego and N. Cayuga to Warnings for 4 to 7 more inches...and BGM updated their warming to "4 to 8 additional inches overnight" for a total of 8 to 15 inches.
  12. Picked up about 2 more inches since this started back up two and a half hours ago. So, it's kicked in. It's blowing around so much in the wind though it's impossible to determine exact amounts.
  13. Remember when I told you that I could see the downsloping happen off the Tug? Like I said, I've seen it happen with the 1,000 ft. ridges in PA many times. The top of the top is at least 1500 ft. higher than down here. I wish I had been wrong.
  14. The NWS maps certainly continue the theme of N. Onondaga being screwed. Still snowing nicely here...but watching another dry slot forming due north over Eastern Lake Ontario.
  15. Thanks, Dave. It is FINALLY snowing heavily here. Hoping it goes much of the night.
  16. It's finally dumping here. As this awful dry slot from downsloping continues to back off, I think you guys will join in as well.
  17. Please let the winds turn NW rapidly. This NE crap can go away. Finally seeing some decent snow here. Hopefully it's here to stay for some time.
  18. Thanks. It's picked up somewhat now. Are you in the beautiful village itself or up on the hills surrounding town?
  19. So I've been in the band for an hour and can't get squat...you're in it for a minute and you're already heavy snow? lol Enjoy. Precip. has picked up to "light" snow now.
  20. Perhaps that downsloping that is STILL going off the Tug and headed in this general direction is still destroying things even though radar is showing heavy snow overhead.
  21. It has been SO frustrating...and OF COURSE it has to be over my head.
