  1. The SREFs...WOW!!! Would love to see Globals follow along and the NAM just doing NAM things... But I don't think SREFs are very good?
  2. Carol even gets snow from Lake Erie. I hope it misses her a mile to the south.
  3. That will make for a nice base. Hopefully over the next week we will all be adding nicely to it.
  4. Yuck. We were in the 40s with sunshine up here too. The snowpack definitely took a hit, but I'm guessing still a foot plus?
  5. How are you guys doing over there in Rochester? Do you still have a good snowpack? Perhaps you'll get a few inches from the Lake Erie band.
  6. Did you guys lose much of your snowpack there with the warmer temps?
  7. Looks like the band has arrived on the north side of downtown.. Buffalo, NY | Elmwood Ave | Mr. Pizza | BuffaloWebcam.com | Live Webcams from Buffalo, New York USA
  8. So, at this point, perhaps a 2 to 3 inch event for the I 81 corridor.
  9. GFS likes to cut systems in the long range as often as Euro likes to hold energy back in the SW.
  10. There's so many different opportunities, I'm thinking next week is going to be a good week. Temps still in the 40s here. This winter druggie is ready for the front to come through! lol
  11. Typical for this winter. We get a decent snowstorm/snowpack and the next couple days after hit 40 and wreck the beautiful snowpack. As a winter lover............
  12. Look at Rochester being the runt that picks up the scraps. Keep getting these 2 to 3 inchers guys and you'll be at normal.
  13. 00z runs are looking a little bit snowier in general for Upstate NY this weekend. Even outside of the lake effect bands there could be 1 to 3 inches of snowfall. Detroit down to Toledo and Cleveland have gotten quite the burst of snow with that band tonight. Some areas could wake up to a surprise if it holds together. These seem to generally die though as they move past western NY...so I think the Buffalo crew might have the best shot.
  14. After a high of 37 degrees, the temp quickly plummeted and down to 23 degrees. That should put a nice crust on top of the snowpack.
  15. ...and Carol Yerdon is the bully...who steals all your lunch money...
  16. Nam 3K even has ME getting hit by your Lake Erie band....lol
  17. So, even if this missed us to the SE, I believe winds "should" go northwest and give us some snows. Not sure though..as I'm not used to these kinds of systems in these parts yet.
  18. Wow...Dansville went from a low of 9 degrees to 41 degrees (32 degree rise.) Elmira went from a low of 4 degrees to 44 degrees! (40 degree rise) That's WITH snow on the ground....just crazy for winter. I guess the low dewpoints and wind helped with that.
  19. Temps, per usual, waaaay over-performing here. Wunderground stations are almost all in mid to upper 30s
  20. Interesting...that map looks completely opposite of the 06Z runs for you guys. It looks like more a general, perhaps fluctuating band for the area?
